Our defensive unit will forever keep us a "top 4" contending team only. Everton didn't play well and grabbed 3. Sheffield grabbed 2. Must be hard for the attackers knowing they can't trust us not to concede
It is his fecking fault. Ancelotti getting 3 goals in the second half is only on the manager who does not know how to see a 2 nill lead through the end of the game. What an absolute idiot. What was he fecking thinking in the second half? Why did he even put Tuanzebe on? What was he going to change in the last 2 minutes except giving the ref reason to add another ½ min on the added time.
As somebody above said, bringing a defender on invites pressure, especially when it is Axel who unfortunately has been awful this season.
We will see. Even if they do then we havent capitalised on it today have we? As you know we are chasing them not the other way round.Tomorrow. If you can wait for then?
Of course all sides have their limitations. United's are just obvious, maybe even more inherent than City's and therefore harder to solve. We seem to have mostly resolved ours but only so far - we actually have to win trophies without Kompany, Silva, and, let's face it, Aguero to prove that we've moved on.So basically all sides are limited who have areas to improve, basically the whole league and most of the footballing world. What a stupid and pointless thing to say that explicitly about United then!
It puts pressure on the attackers to always be scoring as you cannot trust that defence to not give goals away. I would have been slapping someone if I was Bruno or Cavani. Our defensive unit will forever keep us a "top 4" contending team only. Everton didn't play well and grabbed 3. Sheffield grabbed 2. What’s more they bent over for NewcastleFuming after this, another defensive disasterclass.
Also Everton can feck off, constantly cause us problems but can’t bend over and spread it quickly enough every time they play Liverpool. Pricks.
I agree about DDG. Axel gave a freekick away, but it should have been dealt with easily. Now Ole really has to have a good look at DDG. If Dean plays against WHU and does well I would keep him in.The Tuanzebe substitution was not meant to have any impact on the game, only to waste time. It's a very common tactic that I'm sure you are aware of. DDG was a fault for the first, the second was just a good Everton goal and the third was on DDG for failing to claim a ball that was rightfully his.
I'm not seeing where Ole is at fault here.

Think people have mentioned they do zonal marking not man to man marking.I just don’t understand why our defenders don’t mark anyone when the other team attacks, can anyone enlighten me?
Of course they’re going to score if they’re unmarked when the ball comes across. Is it just me that sees this glaringly obvious basic fact of football that even I was taught at 7 years old??
Maguire? A coward? Wise up. De Gea now. There’s a coward. Literally. We’ve dropped points twice now because he wasn’t brave enough.
True. We looked to score again with one minute left!!! Who are we, Leeds?I watched Grealish earlier he draws defenders towards him, he is on the move all the time, all over the pitch from side to side. He wins fouls to take the heat out of situations.
Yeah, it's not like Axel gave it away in a dangerous area. It was miles away from our goal, no way should we conceide that easily after such a free kick.I agree about DDG. If you going to blame De Gea, how does Maguire get a pass for not doing his Job? I would go with Ole as No. 1, for the time his been in charge, we are still unable to properly press as a team. You can't just have the front three players chasing after the ball, just watch back the first goal and see how our players are positioned, especially Fred and Scott, I was screaming at the tele for someone to get close to Davies, that is where it started, however Maguire shouldn't have bene beaten, he, and not for the first time, was beaten way too easily. Yes De Gea has lost as points this season, but so has Harry.De Gea's soft palm away for the first goal was fair game for criticism, his lack of bravery to come on DCL is inexcusable. He's a coward stealing £200k more then he deserves. Maguire didn't cover himself in glory but he didn't cost us today. Yes the whole team has to take the blame but when looking back it's easy to know who cosy us what and DDG, Axel and Ole are 1, 2 and 3 in line for a shaming.
giving DDG that contract was the first mistake. Second mistake was giving Henderson his deal to come back and to breathe down each other’s necks. Whats the fecking point. Neither of them are playing well now. It’s just bad management with Romero and Grant getting paid top dollar to train and chill.
doom and gloom aside I thought we played quite well. We controlled the game and had plenty of good chances. Rashford had Cavani/Greenwood open a few times and wouldn’t use them. Standard Rashford these days. What can you say about the central defenders and goalie though? That’s borderline criminal. These are all players at their peak ffs. Highest paid keeper in the world. 80 million quid defender. Argh
What toss are you talking about! I know we aren't there yet and we have to improve. Everyone in the world knows that. Everyone also knows that every team in the world has flaws and they need to improve there.Of course all sides have their limitations. It's just no use panicking about bad results or getting too excited about good ones because United are finally taking shape under Solskjaer and it looks like a good one. This is a positive for United - you have limitations that will likely stop you from winning the league this year, but you've got a much higher floor than you did even six months ago.
Bad result today that may determine the outcome of the season, but you're not dropping these points because you're a naff side anymore - like you used to. You're dropping points right now because you're almost there but not quite, which is a far sight better outlook than you've had for absolutely ages.
Don’t forget Leipzig away as wellMaguire? A coward? Wise up. De Gea now. There’s a coward. Literally. We’ve dropped points twice now because he wasn’t brave enough.

Losing 3-1 in the 2nd half is embarrassing after what Everton managed in the 1st halfConceding three today in that game was criminal. I still can't believe it happened.

Just thinking back to the times of VDS, Rio and Vida. Never any doubt they'd deal with whatever is thrown at them in a professional way. There's practically 0 confidence in the 2 main CB and the GK.
They're so nervous when they have to play the ball between themselves.
Ole?
Not the goalie mistakes?
Not the defensive mistakes?
Not Rashford waiting for the perfect moment.
All on Ole. Right.
TBH, If I was Cavani i'd be sick of the sight of watching Rashford dummying himself into oblivion. This result hurt as much as the Sheffield game. We were so pleasing to watch until the howlers. The forwards must be sick right now of the goalkeeper and the defence.
First goal was completely on De Gea.People keep blaming De Gea but the two centre-backs are fecking shit...you could have prime Buffon in goals and they would make him look shit too.
feck buying Sancho this summer, I'd rather the club invested in two CB's instead. The attack is fine for now with Greenwood playing well on the right again
