The Tuanzebe substitution was not meant to have any impact on the game, only to waste time. It's a very common tactic that I'm sure you are aware of. DDG was a fault for the first, the second was just a good Everton goal and the third was on DDG for failing to claim a ball that was rightfully his.
I'm not seeing where Ole is at fault here.

We will see. Even if they do then we havent capitalised on it today have we? As you know we are chasing them not the other way round.
Of course all sides have their limitations. United's are just obvious, maybe even more inherent than City's and therefore harder to solve. We seem to have mostly resolved ours but only so far - we actually have to win trophies without Kompany, Silva, and, let's face it, Aguero to prove that we've moved on.
It's just no use panicking about bad results or getting too excited about good ones because United are finally taking shape under Solskjaer and it looks like a good one. This is a positive for United - you have limitations that will likely stop you from winning the league this year, but you've got a much higher floor than you did even six months ago.
Bad result today that may determine the outcome of the season, but you're not dropping these points because you're a naff side anymore - like you used to. You're dropping points right now because you're almost there but not quite, which is a far sight better outlook than you've had for absolutely ages.
It puts pressure on the attackers to always be scoring as you cannot trust that defence to not give goals away. I would have been slapping someone if I was Bruno or Cavani.

I agree about DDG. Axel gave a freekick away, but it should have been dealt with easily. Now Ole really has to have a good look at DDG. If Dean plays against WHU and does well I would keep him in.

Maguire is not captain enough material, he has shown us nothing since we purchased him for a world record fee. He has had average performances at times and good performances far and few in between.
De Gea if you remember was our best player for years, considered the best keeper in the world at times. He has made mistakes the last 2 years but at least his history has been positive.
We will win NOTHING with Maguire. He's too slow. He was bought to fix our defence and now all of a sudden all of his biggest supporters are telling me we need the rest of the defence fixed. The very reason he was purchased for, we're now having to buy players that make up for his weaknesses. "Let's buy a speedy defender alongside Maguire" - NO! Yeah, it's not like Axel gave it away in a dangerous area. It was miles away from our goal, no way should we conceide that easily after such a free kick.
Cavani ran his arse of today from start to finish. Scored a goal too, i'd be raging and breaking the dressing room if not DDG if i were him.
If you going to blame De Gea, how does Maguire get a pass for not doing his Job? I would go with Ole as No. 1, for the time his been in charge, we are still unable to properly press as a team. You can't just have the front three players chasing after the ball, just watch back the first goal and see how our players are positioned, especially Fred and Scott, I was screaming at the tele for someone to get close to Davies, that is where it started, however Maguire shouldn't have bene beaten, he, and not for the first time, was beaten way too easily. Yes De Gea has lost as points this season, but so has Harry.
Its not on our attack to score a mad amount of goals each game to win. Look at City, that's why they're going to win the league, because they know how to defend. We've got a better attack than them for goodness sake, we're scoring more than them. Our defence is ruining our season.
To be honest the contract doesnt matter with regards to who plays. And thankfully we have Henderson in our squad to step up.

I said your point about United being limited applies to every team in the world when you put it that way and it was absolutely useless to say that specifically about United after a 9-0 win. You have provided absolutely 0 insights into what made you point to only United when you claimed we shouldn't get excited after winning 9-0. We were so dominant today. Terrible mistakes alone cost us and gave them some impetus for a short time. It would have been a very comfortable win and a great performance had those not happened.

We had plenty of chances and scored 3 goals, but you can't give away those mistakes. Midfield and forward were good, albeit Rashford made some bad decisions at times.

DDG has cost us God knows how many points over the last couple of years, precious points that we can ill-afford to lose. He needs replacing asap.
This result hurt as much as the Sheffield game. We were so pleasing to watch until the howlers. The forwards must be sick right now of the goalkeeper and the defence.

That was a tactical foul, it was closer to the halfway line than our goal. And it happened because AWB had the ball and no one to pass it to because greenwood was subbed, therefore his pass to cavani got intercepted and he was caught out of position and then axel steps in with that foul to stop there attack.
At set pieces yes, not in attacks. No picking up a man when you’re running back defending, ball is cut across and a tap in.

Just thinking back to the times of VDS, Rio and Vida. Never any doubt they'd deal with whatever is thrown at them in a professional way.
In this case, yes. Goalie made mistakes, defence made mistakes too. But we were leading 3-2 despite all of that. And then he brought on Tuanzebe. For what? Young players have a lot of enthusiasm and energy but not a lot of temperament - they are more likely to make a mistake at the end of games when what you need is calm and control. Gave a needless foul that made the back 5 nervous. You could see the goal coming. He could have just told them to bring the ball to the corner for the last 90 seconds. Matic would probably have been a better sub. I cannot criticise Ole too much as he has done so much good for the club and is still doing a good job, but on this occasion he could have compensated for the disasters from DDG and Maguire by not bringing on the sub at the very last minute. Just my personal view.
TBH, If I was Cavani i'd be sick of the sight of watching Rashford dummying himself into oblivion.

Agree with this completely. I dont think attacking is our problem - we have scored more goals than anyone this season. It is the back that is the problem. Maguire and Lindelof are just too nice. They don't have the personalities to play at the back. All the great CBs are all completely ruthless and you would not want to go up against them.
Maguire and Lindeloff are not a title winning centre back partnership. Erratic donkeys.

Sancho would be a huge mistake.
Another overrated, overhyped English player that just gets big praise because of his nationality. We need to invest heavily into defence - get rid of players like Pogba, Martial. Bring in proper CB, a backup or potential starter at RB, CDM and striker (haaland)
