Really impressive this year. Definitely building a solid career for himself in France after his Bayern and Swansea experiences.Forgot Renato Sanches was at Lille. How has he been playing?

No not like that. They last won it in 2010-11.
Great accomplishment of course considering PSG dominate in terms of resources.
Cheers. Not the same level, Lille won the title before in their history and were in the CL this season. Leicester title was truly unique
That's Leicester equivalent or even more unexpected? Don't know anything about them.
Yeah he's a midfielder, goals and assists aren't exactly the metrics to judge them on
22 Apps(1189min) 1 goal 2 assists
I'd say Montpelier's title win a few years ago was the Leicester equivalent.
I have no idea who the Lille manager is, but this is such a great achievement and surely a bigger club will snap him up very soon?
Apparently, he's off the 9th place Nice.I have no idea who the Lille manager is, but this is such a great achievement and surely a bigger club will snap him up very soon?
Why?Seems poised to join Nice according to the French media.

Who's on BT co-comms for the Lille game with Jonathan Pearce?
Seems to be talking more sense than most of the no-marks they wheel out for the PL games.
Clive Allen's also done a bunch of co-commentary for Serie A, and he's been quite decent compared to your typical Premier League co-commentators. He's generally clued up on European football.Ah, cheers. Way off the age profile they'll be wanting to go for with the main coverage then I suppose. Probably only considered to be qualified for doing this for spending 5 minutes in Bordeaux in the late 80s.![]()

Congratulation to Lille.
Condolences to Amadeus.
What does the OSC stand for?

Sounds like the French MoyesThey have more money and are building a more stable project. Galthier is not going to be targetted by fancy clubs, he has been around for a long time and his football is terrible, it gets results in the league with a certain type of player but as you can see in Europe his teams are destroyed by even average continental teams.
Sounds like the French Moyes

I think he could, but not yet. I think he needs at least another season in Ligue 1, playing Champions League again will help too.Nice to know. I hope he can continue to do well. Reckon he can crack a better league?

This is just outrageous to be fair rigth? I mean it's not an 'overall best XI', but a Team of the last Season.
How indeed Yilmaz and Botman arent in there is just crazy. Also Maignan for example.. Somehow they managed to not include any player from the Champions. Especially in defense it hard to defend these choices, with Lille having only lost 3 games and conceeded the least amount of goals..
There are two players from the champions, André and Mandava.
It happens.Haha wow, somehow managed to just completely overlook that... #crawlsbackinhiding
