I think Pirlo will stay, just because he is cheap and it is not worthy to pursue another half-manager, while still rebuilding. Just let him roll on and complete the rebuild, while living his dream after having graduated tonight with a mere 2.2.

It was dreadful dreadful stuff. Couldn't string three passes together, couldn't control the ball, couldn't go a minute without a break of play. Two strikers upfront wrestling up top, a scattered midfield, and defenders who had no idea what football is or how to play it. I could have played better than Mario Rui after he came on. I think League One teams would have won against them the way they were playing last night.
Possibly the worst half of football I've watched the entire season across any league.
The more I think of it, the more sense it make:
1. He has already secured Serie A top scorer award this season, and had already reached 100 goals milestone for Juventus. Individually there’s nothing more he could have achieved from playing this final game.
2. He already won trophies from domestic cup and super cup this season, playing this final league game won’t add anything to his trophy cabinet.
3. He is on the move this summer, so whether or not Juventus getting top 4 spot and plays in next season CL doesn’t concern him at all.
4. There’s Euro coming up in a month time, this could be his last chance of playing/winning another Euro, so staying fit in best condition would be his top priority now. Having played a cup final just few days ago, he needs more time to recover and ensure himself to stay free from any risk of injury.
I suspect he has already made agreement with Juventus, unless they are not winning in 2nd half and need all 3 points, he wouldn’t come on from bench.

You mean it makes sense if you have no respect for the club, the fan base, or the history? Are you mistakenly painting him as a mercenary?
It depends how you see it. If you think it make sense to overplay a 36 year old and risk him to potential injuries when he is not fully fitted (like we did with Rashford last season), then so be it. Point being, it doesn’t worth for him to risk injury for this game. He already scored 100+ goals for them so I don’t see lack of respect for the club or fans. He just need a little rest.
What you said was he had nothing to gain from playing that game. That’s only true if you see him as an individual completely separate and above the club’s objectives. Otherwise to consider yesterday’s game relatively worthless because he can’t add to his trophy cabinet or goals record is absurd
Well I have listed 4 reasons and you could only focus on one. I am sure if this is Euro final, he would have played even if he is it fully fit or has picked up a knock or something.

All four reasons come from the same principle that it's somehow normal for a player to consider himself above the team.
1. He doesn't need more goals (who cares if the team do)
2. He can't get more trophies (who cares what else the team wants to achieve)
3. He's leaving (who cares what his current team expects from him while he's under contract)
4. He's saving himself for the national team (who cares about club football anyway)
None of those are good reasons not to play in the game if you accept the principle that the team comes before the individual, which is obviously a fundamental principle in team sports. It doesn't matter that he can't get more trophies or doesn't need more goals because the team needs his goals, and they have very important secondary priorities when trophies are no longer available. Until he's left to a new club or to his national team, he has a responsibility for his team, and choosing to put another team before that - during a game - is beyond disrespectful.
Players who show such disregard for that basic principle are criticised. The fact you think they are a good defence of his actions is just an illustration of how far you've moved your perspective just to be able to paint him in a good light. They just clarify his complete disregard for that basic principle. At least according to your theory for why he did it. I wouldn't assume that of Ronaldo because I consider him to be a respectful professional.

Allegri is a winner. He doesn’t always play a boring style and the way he plays depends on what players he has plus he uses different kind of formations. Two times UCL runner up all we wait is the third final which could be next year.

Allegri has been given a €7mil salary with bonuses that could take it to €10mil andna 4 year deal. Also juventus agreed that he could control the transfers for the club ingoing and outgoing. So he left as a coach and has returned as a manager.
That's a nice promotion. I can remember Venezia (and Vicenza who reached semi finals of CWC in 1998 but lost to Chelsea) as regulars in late 90s in thee Gazzetta football italia good old days. Can randomly recall Flippo Maniero upfront scoring a million goals for them, seems all the bottom half teams had that sort of striker (Maurizo Ganz and Dario Hubner were others).
Seems Italy has so many clubs that get relegated and completely disappear off the radar, in late 90s/early 00s can recall of Perugia (loved their random signings), Piacenza, Leece and Reggina all being in Serie A and being pretty decent. Then they get relegated, go bust and you never hear of them again.
Who else is likely to come up, Monza would be interesting addition given who owns them now and last time I looked they were in top 6 so have a chance.
