No-one’s paying 50-60m for him. Unfortunately (given what’s happened since) Sir Alex was spot on in releasing him. We’re going to be even more of a laughing stock when he goes for free again after paying 100m for him but it is right to let him go.

You are assuming PSG is putting any money on the table, you are also assuming Pogba's fat agent is agreeing to the deal without demanding 20m on the side.
We should take the offer with anything above 40m on the table, but chance is slimmer than Denmark winning Euro.

Note that Its not just any mistake he made, its a critical mistake, made at a critical area of the pitch, at a critical time in the match at a critical stage of the tournament. Hence its perfectly reasonable that people are focusing in on it.
But the thing is how he reacts to it. How many times have we seen Pogba making a lung busting run to recover from his mistakes? Zero. This is poor mentality. A true professional does the job week in week out, with 100% commitment on the pitch. The same cannot be said of Pogba, no matter how much talent he has, it is quite plain to see that he only plays for himself and not the team. When it comes down to the crunch would any teammate want to play alongside this kind of player? Would a manager be able to trust such a player to do the job? I hate to say it but Mourinho was right when he called him a virus, because if this lack of commitment is left unchecked, this may easily spread across the team in no time.
In my opinion, he should be sold sooner rather than later, similar to what we did for Lukaku. Because in the long run, it is still a better decision for the team, rather than persistently trying to accommodate a player that just disrupts the balance of the team and plainly just cannot be trusted to give 100% for the team.
I would be careful, can't prove that to be true. But it doesn't really matter, Pogba fanclub will tell you he created many chances, the good outweights the bad etc, so he had a great game. Who cares the Swiss were cutting through France midfield in the first half.
So what's his best position? I would like to hear an answer that doesn't involve a thousand players covering up for him in the midfield where he doesn't hold any defensive duties at all.

Another point, Pogba actually didn't cost United at all last season from taking too much on the ball. He conceded a couple of penalties, one from bad defending and the other because of bad luck, that's it. The consensus was he had a good season, you even saw it in his thread a lot from people wishing for him to re-sign after every good performance. Somehow a week after the season had ended, all that seems to be forgotten and the old exhausting narratives were all back.
I can see why people want him gone for valid enough reasons. I also want him sold if he doesn't sign a new contract. But using his Euro performance as a proof, is just too much of a stretch. It defies my logic. But then, why should i bother with this anymore, i don't know.

To be fair Pogba did loss the ball which lead to goal, but technically speaking he didn’t loss it in his own half. That’s clearly in opponents half, and I don’t think you can blame any player losing possession in opponents half, it happens all the time. He is just unlucky the lost possession eventually lead to goal. Sterling one against Germany would look far worst should Muller scored.

Well... if this is at all true... he's an extremely toxic human being with a humongous ego, who cannot take any criticism. He also doesn't seem to care about pulling his own weight. And if he really is that type of person... we should sell him buy all means.

I don't think that is true, SAF wanted to keep him because he saw great potential and wanted to develop him.
However, I don't think SAF would have resigned him, SAF would have questioned his decision making (listening to an agent's opinion over the greatest manager of all time who consistently developed great players). Apparently, Pogba wanted first team football, I am sure SAF would have re-assured him that his times would come and he would be carefully nurtured like Christiano and others but Pogba made the decision that his agent knew better. He did get first team football but what could he have been if he had let SAF give him a full education at the right pace? Maybe he would have realised his full potential consistently.
SAF wouldn't have wanted to deal with Raiola again, that's pretty sure.
