Didn’t the athletic say we could change our minds based on CL performances
If Ajax qualify surely that makes Tem Hag favourite

Gone after the season ends, even with a domestic double.
Keep him away from OT, please. Ten Hag in.
For losing to bayern in the final. Insane.
It's not but the man has a reputation of bottling and this didn't help
Exactly. He has his issues but this tie is hardly the reason to not hire him
Feel like he’ll want out now and PSG will want Zidane in asap. Would be classic United to have some plan in place but throw it out the window now because he’s going to get sacked and will be a free agent.
Wasn’t Tuchel sacked for a fallout with Leonardo and some players?
Yep. It would be the same if ETH bombed out of Europe. If your opinion is swayed by a single game then it wasn't built on much to begin with.
The real factor here is what this does in terms of Poch's availability and how much weight the people in charge of our club place on that when it comes to the financial costs of appointing the next manager.
It’s proof he still hasn’t learned how to set up teams away from home against the big sidesExactly. He has his issues but this tie is hardly the reason to not hire him
Weirdly this result probably makes it more likely we end up with Poch though

I didn't expect him to win the CL but I did expect at minimum a semi final. You have to say he's failed at PSG. Winning the French league doesn't mean shit!
He was 25 minutes away from gliding into the knockout stages after completely dominating Real Madrid over both legs until Dollarumma and co decided otherwise and gifted Madrid two free goals. It’s proof he still hasn’t learned how to set up teams away from home against the big sides
Except it seems to be a pattern with his teamsIDK if we can really blame him here. That team fell apart.
Well it wasn't because of that, as it was no secret there was a falling out between him and the hierarchy, but still, the replacement was not very wise either way.For losing to bayern in the final. Insane.
Sorry but there is no way that you could have watched this game and come up with that conclusion

Probably. But the timing made it seem like their standards are so high.Wasn’t Tuchel sacked for a fallout with Leonardo and some players?
Poch's at the wheel![]()
The way they crumbled at the end is nothing new. Often times that's how they start their games in their league until Mbappe bails them out . The difference is Madrid had the quality to keep goingSome people questioned why he's doing bad as PSG are 13 points clear. But this is why, they are this open in Ligue 1 and have scrapped wins against some mediocre opposition. This is the worst PSG side since the takeover (if we ignore the first year or two). They have no control over games, the gap between the attack - midfield - defence is huge. The team either isn't coached or they're not taking Poch seriously enough.
The capitulation is typical PSG of course, but least the other PSG sides played good football. What mess are they trying to play now? What is the style?
I’ve watched him through his top level career. He did the same v Bayern last year only Bayern missed chance after chance after falling foul of a spam through ball to Mbappe and got away with it.Sorry but there is no way that you could have watched this game and come up with that conclusion
Lets just make reasonable posts instead of belittling others, shall we?
Perhaps not the sole reason, but this tie is one of the reason.Exactly. He has his issues but this tie is hardly the reason to not hire him
Fair play to you for sticking around to lick Poch's balls when they're as dry as they're going to get. Don't think we'll see @Amadaeus until August.

The only way ETH can achieve more is proving himself at a bigger club.I can understand people not wanting Poch but the number of people who want ETH despite him having not achieved a lot either is pretty amusing
That conclusion is spot on. It's ridiculous to keep pushing high with effectively 7 outfield defenders after Benzema's first to make it 2-1 PSG. PSG have the most effective counterattacking player in the world in Mbappe yet Poch wants his whole team pushed high? Benzema's second came from a transition - inexcusable for PSG to give that up when they were ahead in the tie.
The fallout was in large part over PSG's complacence with squad building - in particular, Tuchel was pissed they let Thiago Silva leave for no discernable reason whilst purchasing dross like Danilo Pereira (who Tuchel played as a CB to emphasise his point). Once Tuchel had the temerity to question the hierarchy though his days were numbered - personally I'm very glad PSG are run by idiots!
By all accounts Tuchel didn't fall out with any players at PSG - there were reports of dissention amongst Dortmund players leading up to Tuchel's departure from there though.
