So odds are in favour of someone who has just recovered from it not contracting it again for a while? For example, I recovered a week or so ago, and had to isolate, meaning I couldn't see my kids as I normally would (they live with their mother). My daughter tested positive as soon as she got home from staying with me this weekend. Do you think it's at all likely I'll get it again from contact with her? That couldn’t happen. The two omicron variants are too similar. To get a reinfection that soon you’d have to get exposed to delta first, then omicron for the reinfection. Which is next to impossible now that omicron has basically wiped out all the prior variants.
