Westminster Politics

No chance in hell he loses this vote.

No chance in hell he wont win the next election either unfortunately.

It’s for the best. It will hurt them in the by-election and it will weaken them as we move towards a GE.
Or they'll let him carry the can for the by-elections, inflation, people's summer holidays, picking fights with the EU and endless nostalgia announcements. Then proudly sack him next year and announce that whilst Boris did some great things, he's past his use by date and it's now time to move on to bigger and better things before crowning a new leader to unite the nation and bring forth a golden age.

Still a better scenario than being replaced by Gove or Truss

The script has gone out

Did all that himself did he.
Brexit is a disaster, especially the oven ready Irish border issue.
What about the billions of money and PPE wasted or fraudulently given away during the pandemic.
What about being the 1st PM in history to have had convicted of breaking his own law.
Proroguing parliament.
Lying to parliament.
Lying to the country.
The list goes on and on.
And if these idiots are happy to support him, then what does that say about themselves.

Wait they’re praising his handling of covid? If this was him doing a good job then I’d hate to see what a bad one looks like. fecking muppets.

Wonder if we’re shaping up towards a much softer Brexiteer leading the country. With Hannan, Schaps and various others seemingly distancing themselves from this form of self harm Brexit in recent days the stage could be set for a more pragmatic approach lumping the blame for this shit show on Boris.
The Tories do tend to pick the opposite of the prior leader - I wouldn't be surprised if Jeremy Hunt is back in the fold. Would still expect the grassroots to prefer a Hard Brexiteer/ anti-woke lunatic though.

Edit - Now that I've finished catching up, I realise I'm about the 5,000th person to mention Hunt today. Doh.

Must be the first PM praised for making a complete balls-up of everything.

Is there a cure for brainwashing, I wonder?

Johnson is done.

He'll probably survive tonight but it is 100% the beginning of the end.

Think if it as the vote of confidence from an owner when a manager is struggling and you're losing every week.

Depends on how many rats perceive the rate of the sinking ship. Tories and their 'revolts'.
