Then proudly sack him next year and announce that whilst Boris did some great things, he's past his use by date and it's now time to move on to bigger and better things before crowning a new leader to unite the nation and bring forth a golden age.

The Tories do tend to pick the opposite of the prior leader - I wouldn't be surprised if Jeremy Hunt is back in the fold. Would still expect the grassroots to prefer a Hard Brexiteer/ anti-woke lunatic though.
