Released at 9am.

Our rumoured first game is Brighton at OT.

I’m going to ignore the rumoured first game in the OP, and will predict it will be either Newcastle away or Brentford at home.

Hopefully we don't have to play against all top sides within couple of weekends like last year

I remember the days when I use to look forward to seeing the last few fixtures to see how difficult the title run in would be.

Rumoured to be our first 6 games.

Our run in after the Liverpool match in March looks promising if we need a strong finish

October is a very difficult month. Play 5 of what is probably going to be the top 8 teams.

October is rough especially with European travels involved but overall very kind.

They just couldn’t let go of those Boxing Day fixtures even right after a World Cup, could they?

At least we will get the drumming by Liverpool out of the way early on.

October :nervous:

I like the start (gw3 aside) and the finish to the season.

October looks tricky.

Playing those Lot on my birthday in September which is a difficult month and Chelsea to start is annoying but aside from that we have a decent spread of fixtures.

I don't think I've ever been more unexcited or less hopeful than I am for this season.

Not liking the look of Liverpool in game 3. We'll be getting humbled fairly quick it looks like

Everton
Spurs
Leeds
Leicester
Southampton

Run in:

Bournemouth
Nottingham Forest
City
Newcastle

Arsenal at Selhurst Park as the season opener on a Friday night…

London derby, away on Friday night again...what could go wrong??

It's as if the EPL loved the drama of the Brentford game last season and said we'll have more of that!

Tough start. Don't see us getting a lot from August.

I’m being 100% honest here when I say, as we are right now, we will struggle to get 6 points from those opening 6 fixtures.

New signings better be in place and up to speed for season start, but with 5 games played before window shuts I highly doubt they will be.

Lads, match tickets will be released for all members at 10am on the United website.

Can see us having a slow start as we try to bed in ETH's style of play, so that post-Liverpool run of good fixtures is no bad thing.

With the exception of October and perhaps January, it's a pretty good spread of games. Europa League in October will make it even worse.

We'll get to see early on what we're made of as we're facing teams that absolutely hammered us last season so early on. The Liverpool one in particular will be a huge test.
