They reduced the wing sizes to eliminate drag but that makes the car slightly more unstable in corners. RB didn't feel the need to do so, I guess they made the calc correct.

So all 3 qualify behind him and I think he'll end up 4th

So what is the actual grid positions after penalties
Perez qualified 4th, has a 10 place penalty but I think he'll be starting 10th. So his penalty is almost halved. Seems absurd.
On the plus side De Vries starting 8th. That should be interesting.

Deleted lap time for his quickest lap. Went wide at the second Lesmo.
I get that the system is ridiculous when you have that many dropping but 5 places becoming 2 for Max while 10 becoming 6 for Perez doesn't exactly seem fair.

Russell should have a quiet race for a while once Max sails past. Will be looking forward to seeing if he can hold off Sainz and Perez later on, not expecting so on this track even if race pace is better.

I think Merc kept him on the shelf for far too long.
Uses to be common back 30 years ago to get into f1 around that age. However i agree i think he may have missed his f1 window, unless williams dump the hapless latifi. Many motorsports outside f1 where you can make a name for yourself and good career money.TIL DeVries is actually 27
