He's painful to listen to.
I like him as a pundit. He knows a lot about the game and seems down to earth. I much prefer him in the studio than in the commentary box though as he comes out with the odd howler in-game.i'll never understand why our fans get so wound up by him, amazes me. Top bloke imo.
I get that some folk are irritated by him and his type, but to suggest the man, who has done more for our club that anyone on here, doesn’t love United is genuinely puzzling to me.

On the international feed.Where have you been for a decade
I think going against your club to further your career rubs a lot of fans up the wrong way. It doesn’t hurt Jamie or Micah but here we are with Gary.I get that some folk are irritated by him and his type, but to suggest the man, who has done more for our club that anyone on here, doesn’t love United is genuinely puzzling to me.

Nah I feel like Carragher is a larger imbecile. The thing you have to remember about Neville is that he’s a bit thick. Which he tries to hide but it’s always there, right beneath the surface. So you can’t really take him seriously about anything. Conversely, Carragher sounds thick as pig-shit, but is marginally less dense than Neville.

Gary Neville is a businessman as well as a TV presenter. Carragher spat at a child from a moving vehicle.
Landing your spit on a child from a separate moving vehicle is impressive, but I personally disagree that it's equatable with running a business and television presenting.
I don’t know, it’s very easy to separate the player from the ex player for me. No different to Ole who didn’t tarnish his player legacy despite his much criticised managerial stint.I get that some folk are irritated by him and his type, but to suggest the man, who has done more for our club that anyone on here, doesn’t love United is genuinely puzzling to me.
Bit harsh. His thought processes certainly aren’t the quickest, and he needs time to collect his thoughts before saying anything sensible. Which is why he’s so bad at co-commentary.The thing you have to remember about Neville is that he’s a bit thick. Which he tries to hide but it’s always there, right beneath the surface. What gives you the impression that he’s thick? The thing you have to remember about Neville is that he’s a bit thick. Which he tries to hide but it’s always there, right beneath the surface. just curious as he certainly doesn’t seem thick to me, perhaps pig headed in his opinions but I don’t think that equates being thick. His company for example is growing bigger and bigger every year, I follow him on LinkedIn and you can see the progress they are making across Manchester
He’s a pundit/analyst. He will say stupid things because we listen to him all the time and it’s his job to try and get a rise or stimulate conversation & debate with the others. He keeps saying stupid things. And the way he argues/debates always comes across as someone who is a bit thick. Doesn’t seem to be able to listen or understand whatever point the other person is trying to get across.

I don’t think I’d accuse him of being thick based on that tv work because he’s got a lot of strings to his bow and is very successful
Missed the Pool game. What did he do?

The UK's Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) ruled Neville was "likely to be of strong appeal to under-18s"
I think that was more him reacting to a fellow right back making a poor poor defensive decision."Oh noooo", when Tottenham actually had some space about 92mins in and could have had a break.
Sounded utterly gutted at the prospect. Very strange behaviour.
