Piastri, initially promoted into the top three at his team-mate's expense, had just staged his top-three interview in parc ferme before being informed.

They won't care about social media clicks going down as long as their revenue keeps going up year on year, which it is. TV subscriptions are going up as well, so I think that social media report is given a bit too much weight when it comes to assessing general interest and demand.

It is a monumentally shit track, worst on the calendar by some distance. No interesting corners. Nothing memorable or unique about it. Only difficult because it's in a place that is too dusty and hot to host a race in the first place.
Dont know what the overtake delta is but I bet all the passes come at turn 1.

I agree this track is shit, one of the main problems is there is no other racing on it this weekend.

So far if I can recall the best races of the season so far have been at the proper circuits not these new money talks ones. Shame the entertainment value isn't considered and sterile processions are considered fine because it's at a place that gives way more in terms of ££££s than it does entertainment

The Sprint Shootout will therefore start 20 minutes later than planned If problems continue after the sprint: -

Disastrous trackSo the issue is the pyramid kerbs are causing the tyre sidewall to come away after 20 laps. Heres an idea, dont go on the kerbs. If you do you might get a puncture or crash. If you do go on the kerbs you get a faster lap time.High risk, high reward.

Worse than Le Castellet in the desert. There's not even any fecking grandstands anywhere. Most of the track is obscured from the handful of fans that are there.
