If that's true it's just a perfect example of that system being flawed as hell. He's been absolute trash and his"assist" was just an amazingly shit pass

This approach play is like LVG ball. Pass it sideways around the semicircle, wait, rinse , repeat. No third man running, no 1-2 passes, no one-touch passing. When we do try to loft a pass it’s not high enough or is sent too far. Just technically poor.
