Sir Alex didn’t have the number one team in England for two decades. Sir Alex took over a team of perennial underachievers and transformed them into the best team in England. There’s a big difference. He started from the same platform as Klopp.
Two decades in speaking off are from 1993-2013, during that period, apart from a few years in the mid 2000's when we really did fall off, United were the top side in England, or atleast top 2, and considered one of the best in Europe.
Arguably worse, and constantly reinvented himself and the team.
I'm not being funny, but if you know anything about SAF, the answer to that is a bit obvious. He hated losing.
I'm not talking about SAF, I'm speaking of us United fans, who seem to suggest losing a final is a failure, whether we considered that period a failure in Europe because we lost to Barca twice.
I am in no absolute way comparing Klopp to SAF. I just said before that Klopp is comparable to Wenger so why the hell would I think of him being SAF's equal. SAF berated his team for not playing well after winning a cup with Aberdeen ffs
