Ronaldo can't play :nono: and surely Carrick will start

See us going in with the same team that started against Spurs.

2-0 i think...

Look for the same line-up we had against Spurs. Saha and Anderson may get some time, if fit, but neither will start. With the international break coming up, Scholes and Giggs won't be getting a rest.

I think we'll win either 1-0, or 2-0. We'll still have some problems getting goals. If Saha plays 45 minutes or so, he might get one for us. Tevez has a good chance to get his first goal.

I'll go for Giggs to get his first of the year, and then either Tevez or Saha for the second.

This is actually a big game for us. I'm yet to worry this season, but it will help my heart-rate if we could show we can put the ball in the net a good few times. 3-0, Nani (2), Giggs.

For the love of all which is holy, let's not put Giggs on top. He's a fantastic winger, but he's hardly more than an average striker. There's a reason why Tevez has looked slightly lost so far. Well, there's several reasons, but that's one of them. As soon as Tevez get's a proper forward next to him, we'll see the goals running in.

Keane Not Expecting Red Carpet Treatment

Sunderland boss Roy Keane insists he isn't expecting any kind of special welcome on his return to Old Trafford this weekend.

The former Manchester United captain brings the Black Cats to the 'Theatre of Dreams' for a clash with former mentor Sir Alex Ferguson, but he expects to be treated just the same as any other visiting manager.

Keane, who spent 12 years with United, said: "I am not expecting a red carpet or hugs and kisses from anybody. I won't be and I wouldn't expect it.

"Let's be under no illusions here, United and Alex Ferguson will want to beat Sunderland and myself as much as any other club, and rightly so. You wouldn't expect anything different.

"I have said many times before, I have played against teams before there and you just looked at them in the tunnel and they were already beaten.

"We have just got to make sure we are not beaten in the tunnel."

not really sure where all these goals are coming from in some of the predictions...we have hardly been in scoring form for the last 8 odd competitive matches!! I think Keane will play it tight and defensively as all the lower teams will do at Old Trafford. I predict a frustrating afternoon for the reads and hopefully squeeze a 1 - 0 win. The only thing in our favour is that some of the ex united players may be a big gung-ho to put one over Fergie which might leave some space!!

Feeling confident today for the first time this season. SAF will have the lads really pumped up for this, he won't have Keano getting one over on him - anyone not performing will get a kicking at half time.

Tevez to score for the first, second & third times...3-0 Utd!

Can somebody please PM me what channel this is on via the interwebs ? I'll be eternally grateful.

Setanta has decided to feck off at the last minute :(

It's OK to play defensive if it's 0-0 but soon as we get a goal that's when we come alive...no point in being defensive if you're getting beat. That's why an early goal is so important for us.

I've recently tried out Sopcast, and whenever I try to use one, I keep on getting "No peers connected". Any solutions?

I guess...considering he shouldn't be booed, because he's not playing FOR United. But he will get booed for playing AGAINST United.

I wonder if there'll be a mass suiside in the caf if Richardson scores...

When you said "if" Richardson scores, it made me think of him holding out the Sunderland badge, pointing it...etc.

This is the line up I want. But I'm pretty sure Fergie will start the same 11 that he did against Spurs.

Saha probably won't start as he didnt play a minute in the Reserves game on Thursday

I reckon one of Saha or Anderson will start, Fergie may well spring a suprise. I'm getting ready for my Anderson 'i told you so' thread :D Hope i haven't jinxed hom now!

0-0

Sunderland keeper to have the game of his life  Like they all do when they visit OT.

That better not be the official line up.

Sick of Giggs and Brown.

Giggs is terrible playing upfront. I prefer him on the left wing, his natural position.

Why doesn't Fergie try Nani upfront with Tevez? and put Giggsy on the left. Only for now of course, until all our players are back.

Nani is a converted striker after all.
