Rubbish, Fletcher has done just as much (or as little as the case may be) as Hargreaves has so far. The reason they are cutting through so easily is they have 3 in the middle to our two and have been passing triangles around them. But you'd expect a £17 million defensive midfield specialist to have a bit more of an effect.
Oh and Giggs hasnt been that bad. One of our better attacking players that half.
I can see us getting another goal even though we've been poor. We just look so good on the counter. We can't just keep soaking up the pressure though, West Ham will get one eventually if we do.

What a dire half! Too much dwelling on the ball. Not enough astute passing from midfield, how Anderson didn't start this game is beyond me, it was fairly obvious Fletcher or Hargreaves can't distribute for well enough.

That was never a penalty.
No point bringing either Tevez or Saha off, we need to start playing the football we are used to, and that won't work with 1 striker. We do, however, need Anderson in the centre, so I'd bring him on for Fletcher.

Aggressive? I, for one, dont think that he is easily MOM. He lost the ball too often and too easily, but on the other hand his assist was great. But still not MOM, that would be either Rio, Vidic, Ronaldo or PIG for me.
And secondly, Fletcher should be subbed off.

Reason Tevez hasn't been in the game is because he's playing on the wing. We need to push Saha on to stretch the defense, with Tevez just behind him, supplying the ammunition.

Same, i really thought it was a goal because it was something like 4 on 2 in that situation and Giggs was 1 v 1; he's usually really composed in those situations.
And there was that bit where Saha played the pass to Ronnie out wide and he messed it up; should have played it left i thought to Tevez. Just as we've looked like creating something on the break we mess it up with a poor touch or pass. also that bit with Ronaldo cutting in at the end.
But them going 4-4-2 will suit us, mainly because we've only got three players crossing the halfway line with their trio of Parker, Mullins and Noble stiffling Fletch and Hargreaves. Which is where Anderson hopefully will come in.
It was always going to be a tough game this; i'll be very much happy with 3 points, through any sort of performance. We certainly rode our luck though with the sitters they have missed.
