Manchester United vs Tottenham Hotspur

Spurs should've earnt atleast draw in the bpl match against us under jol, they look a better team under juande,so i can easily see a upset with king back in defence, ofcourse as usuall if its going to be cristiano ronaldo that has the last word to say nothing else matters !

What does that mean? Something about a panty line?

Ok, time to do 'the traditional'...

I hope we start Rooney, Tevez and Ronaldo.

I'd reckon on a central-midfield pair of Hargreaves and Anderson - with the position on the 'other' wing going to Giggs - I reckon we'll need his guile and experience.

That would be an excellent lineup to put out against Spurs, although I wouldnt mind Carrick over Hargo to be honest

They look an improved side these days, but I really cannot see us slipping up in this one.

They'll be a tougher nut to crack defensively though - because with King in the backline, it seems that Dawson improves as well. I definetly think that Lee Young Pyo is the weak link and Ronaldo will have a field day against him.

I still reckon they lack class in central midfield. Jenas has done well lately, but the likes of him and Huddlestone are no match for the United midfield. They'll miss Zokora as well I think.

I reckon we're really going to put the Spuds in their place.

As do I good sir

Looking forward to this one. With Ramos promising to give it a go should be in for a cracking game.

It amazes me really. Over 7000 posts without actually saying anything. Surely that warrants some kind of award.

Actually the number is quite higher, but what am I supposed to say when I get a stupid reply like that, yours might have been longer than mine, but my retort was clearly better;) Oh and I don't know about an award, did you win one after getting to 500 posts without saying anything in your posts:p

Spurs will lose this match 4-0 and I'm hoping they lose by more! They always bend over for your lot so should be an easy and comfortable win.

Similar to you bending over for them?

oooh good one :smirk: Have spent the last 9 years humiliating them even though they seem to play out of their skins at home every time we face them, was bound to end sometime...

""We don't fear anyone," Poyet told reporters. "I am able to say we can beat anyone, anywhere."

The former Uruguay midfielder acknowledged, however, that a special strategy was needed against the league champions.

"You need a special day and a special plan to play against United and we hope what we are planning is going to work because it is not a normal game in terms of how you play," said Poyet.

"You have to calm down, get back to basics and know it is going to be difficult but also know we are good enough to win the game."

Poyet, a former Tottenham player, was brought back to White Hart Lane when Juande Ramos replaced Martin Jol as manager in October.

"I would say we try to put things in that we like and we want to work," Poyet said. "Of course fitness is there, the mental (aspect) is there. We talk about being simple, very, very simple, not to complicate things."

Your team is clear favourites to win this one, but anything can happen on the day. We're not under any special pressure since we're seen as the underdogs. Hopefully this will mean we'll relax in a good way and be able to play free-flowing football.

you can only win if we play shite and in the same time you play out of your skin which is highly unlikely

There's psyching up yourselves, then there's plain delusion.

Very difficult game, Berbatov will be a threat, think we'll need to score first and early.

Lurked at a couple of Spurs forums today, they think that they are going to win:D

Thank god its on BBC 1 I don't think I could take listening to 5live with Alan Green. I bet you he has a go at us for the Saudi trip.

ive got a feeling we are going to win today, dont know weather its just a rebound feeling from tuesday night but im going for a very nerve racking 1 - 0 win for us, wouldnt mind betting that we score early then have to struggle to hold on for the rest of the match
