he had missing time and he didn't know what happened
I couldn't help but laugh, when he was asking if he had a fight and whether it was a "real" fight or practice...
he had missing time and he didn't know what happened
That was pretty weird!!
Big time. After watching the first episode, Quinton Jackson is growing on me. I didn't really take to him before that. Can't wait for Jackson Forrest fight although I think Jackson would beat him handy.
i don't know about that... forest is great at raising his game... look what he did to that ninja or shogun guy last time.
Good shit from Bisping, Franklin and GSP. Weak fight on the Quarry fight, that Canadian kid kept running from him.
I thought that after the fight, Serra was going to say he is dropping to a lower weight class. There is now way he can come close to GSP.
Starnes was a joke. It was almost embarrassing watching that fight knowing he was Canadian.
What do you mean almost embarrasing? The guy is a fecking joke to us canadians.
On a side note, good fight from Rich. I was watching the post fight with john mccarthy and randy cotoure and there was talk of GSP maybe, again maybe moving up to face silva. How do you think that would go?
Rush is a big WW, but would be a mid-size MW. I would imagine that GSP would repeatedly take him down over and over as his takedowns are basically impossible to stop. If he gets him on the mat then his speed would have a chance to take over. However, if the fight stays standing Spider would decimate him as he has everyone else who tried to stand with him.
I don't think their's any reason for Rush to move up though as he has still never even defended his title. 3 or 4 title defences and then I would expect it to happen.
Would he bother though? He wouldn't be a big man in mw. Would the mw title be seen as a bigger title that the ww title? He'd look very small against the likes of Bisping.
Mac Denzig v Mark Bocek
A good fight that Denzig deserved to win. He was especially good in the second round. He doesn't have much charisma though which may lead to him not getting big fights within the UFC.
I rate Denzig. Stays really composed and doesn't have any obvious weakness. That Canadian kid fought a great fight and could easily have caused an upset. I would wager that Denzig will be getting a title-shot in the not too distant future.
He is a good fighter. A very good fighter. I would be worried though that his lack of charisma would stop him getting his chances. People like BJ Penn will always get title shots because they are popular and it would make more money for the UFC. Penn v Sherk will always make a lot more money that Danzig v Sherk. I know it's a cynical thought but the UFC is a business when it comes down to it and they will always want to make as much money as possible from a ppv. I hope Danzig gets a chance to fight some top oppostion though. I think he could do some serious damage.
whens the next ufc
is it penn - sherk?
Yeah. With Ortiz vs. Machida and Wanderlai Silva vs. Jardine.
Starnes was kicked out the UFC after that fight. He claims now that he broke his foot on the first kick of the fight.
If Wayne Rooney could have run that fast with a broken foot we would have won the league weeks ago.
Is anyone else drooling over the Rampage vs. Forrest fight? Everytime I watch TUF I can't wait.
I don't think so I'm a huge Forrest fan ....look at what Forrest guys are doing to Team RampageEven squeaky Dante won over that Hulk of a Brandon
The only thing I don't like about the UFC (beside's no stomps and soccer kicks to downed fighters ala Pride) is the month between PPVs.
do you like the way the camera always focuses on the ring girls bum?
no small joint manipulation either... see how quick the grapplers would stand up if there was!
UFC 87 (9 August)
Roger Huerta vs. Kenny Florian
In Huerta's hometown no less. Huerta's the shit. Lesner is on the card as well.
if he gets caught with something stupid again like leaving his arm there for the arm bar he could well be finished in mma...
Team Rampage got a win last night finally. Good fecking KO for Matt Brown last night. A knee to Jeremy May's chest and then a kick flush on the chin as he was backing away.
That was a great KO!
haha.... you agree with dana
