VDS

Brown
Ferdinand
Vidic
Evra

Ronaldo
Carrick
Fletcher
Park

Berbatov
Rooney

Subs: Kusz, Neville, O'Shea, Scholes, Giggs, Nani, Tevez.

Most of the short-term casualties will be back  Cant wait to see Ronaldo & Evra on the wing again. We should do them, given that we dont just blow it spastically like we did last season. 2-0.

Was worried about the Everton match because of their recent form and defensive stability and West Ham are quite similar in this case.

But as we hardly gave Everton a sniff and fully deserved the win, I'm confident we'll get another 1-0 win today.

Wes ------ Rio ----- Vida ------ Evra
Ronaldo --- Carrick -- Scholes -- Nani

This will be a test but I think we are just starting to press the throttle abit.

Fixed.

A real tough game but if we can keep the deadly carlton cole quiet.... sorry I couldn't finish that sentence

I'm hoping we get an early goal in this one but it's a potential banana skin

Should see a Wesley start !

Van Der Sar
Brown-Ferdinand-Vidic-Evra
Ronaldo-Carrick-Scholes-Park
Tevez-Rooney

Brown's first start in ages
Evra returns
Park is first choice
Scholes position could be Giggs in the middle depending on the news of his absence
Tevez in for more sympathetic reasons
Rooney's back

We didn't have Rooney for this fixture last year, I hope we have him now cuz he really can make things happen upfront and I missed him.

 I voted you for newbie of the year you sonofabitch!

You are manager.

Ok. Now beg or I drop you.

Joking. And was joking with the original post. Dont know if it came across funny or more aggressive than a Scouse film festival.

Putting yourself in Ronaldo's position, eh Solius?

I like to play RW in real life, prefer striker but I thought that would be too big headed :D

I expect this to be a tough game and we could drop points here.
Let's hope for a 1-0 win again! A penalty in the 90+5 minute after a Ronaldo dive please.

Are West Ham any good then?

On a half decent run of form, but they've not really played anyone decent. They were fecking awful at Old Trafford...1 shot I think, and even that was rubbish.

Well, apart from away draws at Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal...okay, I see what you mean.

We shall probably resort to our traditional game-raising status, wind up Ferguson until he goes three shades of puce more than usual, have Rio, Carrick and Tevez realising that they should have never left their true spiritual home and have mares, while Ronaldo does his usual stuff at UP - which is precisely nothing.

Having said that, Manchester United are on a very good run without conceding a goal in tweleve games...but equally, as you say, not really against anyone decent.;)

Look who's mister confident today then, I have a feeling that one will come back to bite you in the ass.

You may well be right!:D

Should be a decent game....but a lose or draw is still more likely than us winning. However, such is the nature of the gap in ability or 'expectancy', we will always treasure those great moments of victory - Di Canio up against Barthez, Judas Defoe scoring at OT to win the game, likewise Tevez scoring at OT, Ronaldo missing the penalty last season...this is what gives us hope.
