feck me, he concedes one goal in a third of a season and he's dropped only on the cafTime to get back in control. The first half has been way too open. Its been end to end and Newcastle have caught us out with the counter attack too many times. We have started to boss the game now but are still wasting too many opportunities. We need to take them in the second half or we could drop points here.

I'm still fuming at that penalty situation. It was the most obvious penalty i've seen in my entire life.

superb half of football. they're defending a high line and it looked like Rooney was going to rip em apart. Guteriez (sp?) had a cracking half, playing on the break, with Lowenkrauntz (sp??) dangerous too. We looked rattled after they scored but rallied to take control. SUPERB equaliser from Rooney; lovely build up play. Had 3 or 4 chances to go in ahead. Bring on the 2nd half!
The elbow on Roni was proberly a yellow imho

I actually don't know why this isn't plausible. Its not as if VDS's been putting in awesome performances during our run. It was MOSTLY down to the defence who rarely gave our opponents a sniff.
I knew Newcastle will play well the moment I saw their huddle before the match started. There's something about teams and their huddles.
