Where the feck has Carrick been the last month or so? Where's his positional abilities gone?

If Tevez or Giggs is to be introduced, Carrick should be the one to go, not Park. Rooney has been magnificent, we really missed him. Ronaldo not doing too badly, but needs to release the ball quicker.

I thought our attacking play was much more threatening than it has been for most of the season too, which is a positive.
 
Defense has been dire... Scholes and Ronaldo are playing "who can give it away more", Carrick has been invisible.

Fletcher has been our best player followed by Rooney.

We're extremely to be level. We could've been down 3, 4 - 0. We need to sort it out big time for the second half. Get Park off and put Tevez on or even stick Kiko. We need the presence in the box.
 
Someone tell me wtf has happened to our passing, we're giving the ball away so cheaply at the moment, it's maddening.

Get Macheda on please.

Yea Evra has actually done fairly well so far. Think Fletch has seemed up for it as well.
 
Really poor defending from Evans on the first goal.

Carrick and Scholes are playing like 50 year old, need to change something there. And Park for me is doing nothing.
 
I think Andy Townsend has summed up Ronaldo in a nutshell. Giving the ball away with no response or reaction.

Look at Rooney tracking back and breaking his fecking neck for the team.

The difference is clear. It must be a fecking ego or pride thing
 
Andy Townsend can feck RIGHT OFF blaming Ronaldo for their goal.

He is sprinting forwards, attempting to start a counter attack. Is he meant to suddenly stop, spin on his heels, run half the length of the pitch in about 2 seconds and tackle someone? feck off, just feck off.

Anyone who blames Ronaldo for their goal is an absolute retard.

TBH you can almost tell most of these players had a tough game on Sunday because most look shattered, really disappointed with Scholes though - he has given away possession so much in the opening half...
 
Get Nani on for Park and Tevez on for one of Carrick or Scholes.

We deserve to be level on the balance of things, maybe one goal down if you're going to be overly critical, not 3 or 4 goals down though.

They're different sort of players, deal with it.

People are acting as if its something very new. We've done great playing this way and THIS is not the problem today.

Evans mistake for the goal. Ronaldo first but evans should have controlled it or played it simple to scholes. he paniced and never recovered

There was one break, we'd already conceded and the players were JOGGING back.

Honestly I'm livid with some of the lads. At least people like rooney have the fecking desire to track back.

Literally every player is having a shocker except for van der Sar and Fletcher. Whatever the reasons for that, we're very lucky to be at 1-1.
 
Scholes - Invisible / Bring on Tevez and pull Rooney back slightly into the midfield

Park off - He's like a gnat trying to fly up an elephants ass, Porto is too strong for him to make any penatration into the Porto box. / Bring on Giggs to get more crosses in from the wings.

SAF would still have Nani or Nev. to field in the final minutes if he needs a delay.
 
Scholes and Park both seem to have lost their first touch. Park has done a round trip to Korea in the last week so his may be stuck in customs. No idea where Scholes' has gone too.

Fletcher and Carrick should stay in the middle with Ronnie on one wing and Nani on the other. Put Rooney up front with Tevez (or Kiko...or am I jumping on-board the hype train before it has left the station??).

Plus...we need Rio back ASAP

Well I don't think you can only blame Ronaldo in this match. Apart from Rooney everyone has given the ball away with no response.

Id rather Rooney stick to playing up front.

The last thing you need is a lone striker wasting his energy tracking back and giving away a freekick in a dangerous area.

Very strange, where is our midfield? No one, and that includes Fletcher, has done anything. Evens is off form as well. Why is everyone slipping and sliding? They really should get the correct foot wear.↲↲

as for our passing are we playing in red or that grey kit? We just don't seem to find our own players.

Yeah dont get me wrong, his attitude is crap, but he wouldnt have achieved anything in this instance and it had nothing to do with their goal.

Couldn't watch us since the Inter game, so only saw us luckily winning 2-0 with all the warning signs showing... since then, I only saw the results and now that I've seen us play again for the first time since then... can't recognize this Manchester United from the one I saw between a 3 months and a few weeks ago...

no confidence, you could see any team getting a result against us now. I fear we will also struggle in the games after this...
 
I reckon SAF will give the players out there till the 60 min if the game is still going badly i expect to see Tevez or even Kiko :)
