Technically these four (Welbeck, Obertan, Macheda, Owen) can all play as strikers so with Ando and Rafael thats a very attacking formation

Decent team, that. I would guess it's Obertan alongside Anderson in the centre. Fergie has stated he can play on either wing or through the middle, so that would be my guess.

I am very disappointed that Tosic is not starting though... Beginning to think he has no future here.

Neville cm perhaps? He played there against Rome for the final minutes two seasons back when he returned from injury

My guess is exactly the same as other people's - that we'll get Obertan in the first half, and Tosic in the second.

Brown played CM in the last 30 mins against Charlton in 2007, so maybe him?

Will there be a full game for download after? I can't watch the game, must leave soon:( and I really want to watch these kids play!

I'm very pleased with this line-up. Obertan, Welbeck, Owen and Macheda are considered as offensive players and with Anderson and Rafael in centre of midfield our team is feckin' awesome.

Young players, ready to shine and show they are ready to make it more often.

Barnsley 0
United 4

:D

Wes Brown as a CM 'lolz' .. would be funny to watch.

Oh yeah Neville did play CM that one time, he's just as likely as anyone else to play there tonight.

I beg to differ and it's actually been quite amazing to see how this myth has slowly gained acceptance among the people of the caf. Watching him step up to the reserves last season, the one thing that gave me hope that this guy might be the real deal was how well rounded his game was. Naturally he'd mainly do the things he does best (lead the line, put it in the back of the net), but if he wasn't getting the necessary service, he'd go wide or drop deep to good effect. Some of the runs he went on and some of the defense-splitting balls he played were absolutely genius and even though, much like Welbeck, he's yet to display his full range at first team level, his game at the moment is more complete than the more direct King's. Hopefully we'll get to see all 3 of them tonight.

In terms of effectiveness right now if I had to throw one of them in at the deep end it would still be Welbeck. His all round game is better suited to our style of play at present especially in the starting 11. Now that may seem harsh and I do think Macheda has improved alot (not like he hasnt got time on his side!) but there is still a tendency to disappear when things dont go his way. Again a very common trait at that age. The sub role is still the way forward for him imo.

I said it at the time of the villa goal that maybe his breakthrough came a little too soon especially in terms of fans expectations.

King is a different story, he seems to have pushed himself up the pecking order. His pace alone makes him a more viable option and I expect him to make an impact if he does get that chance.

I can't recall Fabio and Rafael playing together before, is that right?

I know Fabio and Rafael played at the same time against Peterborough, but Fabio came on at half time where as Rafael started.

Didn't they both play in the FA Cup against spurs?
