Manchester United vs. CSKA Moscow

We've looked quite good going forward, although not a whole lot has come from the wings after a good start by Valencia. He seems to have a bit of the Nani desease - he gets the ball, stops it, then take a million touches before deciding what to do with it. Defending has been bad.

We are devoid of any kind of quality or invention. Our performances this season are getting worse and worse.

Are you fecking serious? This is a reserve side you know.

This club is wasted on some people. I wish they'd just feck off.

Can we nominate him for the "banned from the matchday" thread prize?

Ok.

1) Chill out. We're looking good going forward.
2) Kiko is looking very, very tidy indeed.
3) The defending for the second was a shambles. I think criticism of VDS for the first, although inevitable, is harsh.
4) Owen misses some very easy chances.
5) Nani has been lively enough.
6) I'd hope (and expect) that we can at least equalise in the second half. We don't want to lose this long record.
7) Does anyone think we actually look more susceptible to defeat at home in Europe. We are safe as houses away...

I missed all goals but let me guess, Brown was involved in at least one of the goals we conceded?

HT. 1-2

Sloppy in defence from us. Our whole approach to the game has been lax and very casual. Need an injection of fire and passion in the second half because they are getting an easy ride. The real Manchester United need to step up and show them who owns this place.

We must improve the concentration in central defence. The attack also needs to show more invention and bravery. Make their defence and keeper work a lot harder and we can win this match. Not enough threat or cutting edge for my liking.

We've had a 1st choice defence in all games up to now....makes a huge difference

horrible defending, we are making hard work of this match.....

I think we always look really easy to play through when we play Scholes in a two-man midfield as well.

No, Nani has been awful. Losing possession and not beating his man.

He's lost possession twice, and both times he did he ran back after the player and won it back. He set up Owen with a great backheel for the goal. He played another great ball to Owen who should've scored.

He's been our best attacker, and you lot are still saying he's been shit. Typical.

still say fabio and nani have been dodgy...look where there3 second goal came from.....

Valencia has to be the most one-footed player I've seen in a while.
