I like Valencia. He drives a shit car, is quick as feck, works harder than almost any other player at the club and he's made the right wing his own.

Valencia has now scored in half a season, the entire amount of goals he scored in his stint at Wigan. I'd say thats quite an improvement.

remember the reaction when I started a thread suggesting we were going to buy him last year.He's been an infuriating player to watch at times. He's got everything in his locker to do for us what Lennon has been doing for Spurs but at times seems hestitant to really run at defences. Last night was his best game for us and he needs to show the same mentality from now on. He and Rafael linked up superbly.

I was actually hoping Obertan would be given a start yesterday. He's been good in his few cameos.
We really can't ask for anything more from Valencia at the moment. He's been in great form, and he's got the stats to show for it.
You can't expect him to be performing to that level straight away at a new club given how long it's taken Lennon to get to that level at Spurs.
I like the Park - Valencia wing combination. Park's tendency to cut inside early quite compliments Valencia's touchline hugging style.
Park is such an intelligent and selfless player that he makes it so easy for others to play off him.

Not meaning to belittle Valencia's achievements, but Ronaldo was coming from an injury and the first half of his season was declared to be 'average'.
Valencia came to a new club, had to adapt himself to new team mates, playing style, tactics etc.. he's done well.

I had Rooney down as MotM v Wigan, just watched the match again and changed to Valencia - superb.
Yes, but I don't think anyone's expecting Valencia to reach the heights Ronaldo did at the peak of his form and fitness; and I think people are quite impressed with what Valencia has done considering he's not had much time at the club, and many were unsure he had the quality to be our main right-winger. Using stats from a period when Ronaldo was not at full fitness though, will obviously distort the truth a bit.
I've been quite impressed by Valencia so far. He's looked dangerous on the wing, skillful on the ball and popped up with more goals than I'd expected. He's not been a revelation, but he's played well, and hopefully he'll keep on improving (which he has done since an ineffectual first few games).
He was one of the best on the pitch against Wigan. Fair play to him, showed some variation, nicked a goal as well. Looked more composed in his overall game than he was in his recent outings before Wigan. Hopefully he can build on that.

My cocks been out since mid october over him. What a brilliant little signing. 16m wasn't cheap, but he's certainly risen to the United level. On par with Giggs, Rooney & Evra as player of the season.

He's been the only player to make some what of a difference in our cagey matches this season. Against Leeds and Liverpool, he created chances, and brought life in to the squad. He's delivered most of the time and only on occasion has his form dipped. Same can be said about Rooney and Giggs to be frank. Very happy with his performances and deserves some credit.
