I just can't see Obertan getting a spot on the bench after playing 90 minutes last night.
Diouf maybe since he got taken off early and scored.
TK, Anderson, Brown (or Vidic with brown starting), Neville, Owen, Diouf, Scholes for bench.
With a starting line up of :
VDS
Rafael, Vidic, Evans, Evra
Valencia, Carrick, Fletcher, Park
Berbatov, Rooney
Anderson can come in left for Park if needed. Fletch can play right if Valencia has to come off for any reason and either Anderson/Scholes coming on if something is needed in the middle.
Even though SAF has said Rooney was misused - he can still be thrown out left in a pinch bringing on Owen or Diouf if we are needing a goal
I mentioned this before and I think the phrase "No way is Rooney playing out left" was mentioned. Obertan did impress and Solskjaer's hand was forced by Fabio's injury, (Fabio would've been a possible leftwing option too). It's safe to say Obertan won't start, but the bench can't be ruled out, United don't have any other natural backup on either flank. Didn't Macheda get put on the bench after playing 90 minutes in a reserve match, come on and score?
He wouldn't be fresh, but probably could offer more than Ando there.
