Everton v Manchester United

I just can't see Obertan getting a spot on the bench after playing 90 minutes last night.

Diouf maybe since he got taken off early and scored.

TK, Anderson, Brown (or Vidic with brown starting), Neville, Owen, Diouf, Scholes for bench.

With a starting line up of :

VDS
Rafael, Vidic, Evans, Evra
Valencia, Carrick, Fletcher, Park
Berbatov, Rooney

Anderson can come in left for Park if needed. Fletch can play right if Valencia has to come off for any reason and either Anderson/Scholes coming on if something is needed in the middle.

Even though SAF has said Rooney was misused - he can still be thrown out left in a pinch bringing on Owen or Diouf if we are needing a goal

I mentioned this before and I think the phrase "No way is Rooney playing out left" was mentioned. Obertan did impress and Solskjaer's hand was forced by Fabio's injury, (Fabio would've been a possible leftwing option too). It's safe to say Obertan won't start, but the bench can't be ruled out, United don't have any other natural backup on either flank. Didn't Macheda get put on the bench after playing 90 minutes in a reserve match, come on and score?

He wouldn't be fresh, but probably could offer more than Ando there.

The reserve game was 6 days earlier, so there's a big difference.

So no Obertan ...Oh flip ... I've just thought of the last time this happened...

Is this the return of 3-5-2?

This game is on ESPN2 in HD over here :) Now should I watch it in bed (7:30am kick off) or crawl into the living room and watch it on the big box.

4:45 AM for me. I hate early Saturday kickoffs. Never sure whether to wake up or not. Eventually I do get up, and then spends the rest of Saturday tired and cranky. (Though its better when we win.)

You must be on the west coast. I'm in Chicago and I feel the same. I will wake up and then go to work at 10 and feel like shit all day long.

I m on the West Coast too - Los Angeles. I m not going to sleep because I know I wont wake up at 4:30 am so I have decided not to sleep and pull out an all-nighter. I sleep after the game till noon and I ll be ready to go for the rest of the day.

This is one the biggest things that puts me off emmigrating - the stupid times I'd have to watch United games. For example, if you fellas want to watch CL, surely that's gonna be bang in the middle of your day on a Tuesday or Wednesday, when you're most likely working. What do you do to get around that?

Come on mate you can sacrifice a couple of hours to watch United. I m usually in class during the UCL and I just take my computer and watch it there. I dont listen to the teacher when there is a United game going on.

Dreading Rio & Vidic facing a resurgent Saha to be honest. I loved the guy, a classy classy player. He's not the vindictive type a la Tevez and so wont have a buring desire to prove SAF wrong .... but he is a very very good striker if he's on form will us cuase us alot of problems.

In many ways, a much trickier match than vs Milan.

Living in Asia this is perfect timing for me ... a nice game to watch whilst eating my evening meal.

Im surprised you have not worked that out, the PL games are arranged so to suit Asian TV schedules, they are by far the biggest audience for PL games. And we get all saturday 3pm games live too!

On a good day if the right games are played, we get 3 cracking games in a row with the lunchtime game, the 3pm game and the 5.30pm game!!

Its only a hassle if your on the other side of the world in countries like the US ... which if you're a footy fans serves you right for wanting to live in the US in the 1st place!!!

5.30pm games must be pretty late, and Champions League?

Again, if you have a normal 9-5 job it would be difficult to stay up for these (weekends would probably be easier though).

Rio is banned for this game. Vidic has not played this year and unlikely to start.
