Red Dead Redemption

I've been a few places once...There's nothing to do in them though.

...and how? Do I get a plane?

Go to a flat area outside of a town or settlement. Hit "select." Hit "kit." Hit "camp." Then "travel to destination."

If you are on a 360, use the corresponding buttons.

Yeah, you can shove that one all the way up there. Both wings. You know you can make it fit. No excuses. The landing gear tickles, huh? UNACCEPTABLE.

having finished the game i felt dirty at the ending. Not how rockstar made it but dirty at the backstabbing FBI. So becoming Jack made me want to kill everyone, so i killed his wife and brother with a close range shotgun shot, and if lawmen/army are out and about i don the black handkerchief and kill them too. I was going to go for 100% then realised most of the stuff you just have to do again in multiplayer so i will just do it for multiplayer.

I just finished it and i loved the ending.

John Marston had to die. After everything he'd done in his previous life, the government were always going to come back for him at some point.

Everything he did in the game was to save his family, so it's fitting that to save his family for good he has to sacrifice his own life whilst taking some of those government bastards with him.

Just got to do some more bounty missions to get the big 100 now.

I've just spent 10 minutes rounding up cattle in the rain....then fetching the stragglers, then rounding them all up again and taking them back in a different direction....in the dark.

Rounding up fecking cattle!...adding rain doesn't make it more dramatic

Dullest. Level. Ever

I hated that mission. Dumb cows falling off the cliff.

The weather is dynamic, it just happened to be raining while you were doing it.

I don't even bother with the stragglers. As far as I'm concerned they can feck off or be eaten by wolves.

I hated the herding crap. Which is why

having to herd a bunch of cows after Dutch dies really irked me. The lull before the storm.

Yeah that whole stuff

with your family was dull as shit. However I suppose some of it was necessary to show how Jack got his skills.

Not on that mission, they're straggling because of the storm.

But unlike everyone else, I loved the herding jobs.

I've started reading the Dark Tower series again after playing this. Marston looks how i imagine Roland would look, only with more fingers.

Yeah he reminds me off him too. Also according to a theory on Wiki, that strange man in the "I Know You" missions is based on yours truly

The Strange Man may be a homage to Randall Flagg, a prominent character from Stephen King's Dark Tower novel series.

Just got this. can't wait to get playing it.

Incidentally i also purchased Final Fantasy 13, because it's going for £20 brand new for some reason. That's going to have to wait mind.

Ok guys, now you've had enough time to play the game and reflect on it, is it worth buying on the PS3? I'm considering trading God Of War 3 for it.

I will definitely trade it anyway bu8t I just wanted to gauge opinion. I will be online tonight btw if you want a world cup match :D
Tentative yes. I am waiting to hear back from someone about potential plans, though. I'll let you know, either way.

Just got it today, borrowing it from my brother as he is on holiday. It's fecking brilliant, so much to do and even if you CBA with the story there is still hours and hours of content. Not exaggerating when I say it's one of the best games I've played.

Just got this yesterday, after ordering it about a week and a half ago.

So far I love it and I have hardly done any of the main missions, the side missions are miles better then they are on GTA. I tried online for a hour today and it seems really fun, and this is coming from someone who has never really got into online gaming apart from football games.

Definitely worth the money.

Yup just got it today too and it's brilliant. Far better than GTAIV was.

It'd be awesome if you could stumble over to the poker table pissed, fall onto and scatter it everywhere. Then you get in a huge bar fight which ends in you having a duel. :D

Finished, brilliant game. I'm at >99% must be missing a bounty location or something like that.
