From what I heard, and this may be wrong, you had to buy a $150 ticket which would give you a ticket to the game and to the training session, amongst a few other perks. Can't afford that with a wedding coming up.Anyone going to the training sessions ?

Did you have to get the VIP package, or did you manage to swing something?
Where are your seats for the game?Got the VIP package. $150 and an 8 hour drive is well worth it for me.
I'll be snapping loads of pics on Sat and Sun.![]()

Arrowhead is actually the stadium for the NFL team the Kansas City Chiefs. Wizards used to play there until they moved to Community America Ballpark while their own stadium is being built.Whats with the silly stadium names in the MLS?
not sure about this tour, but i saw united train in chicago in maybe 2005 and it wasn't free. fortunately, i managed to get some free tix!
Pretty sure he's joining the team after this one for the next game.Hernandez will not be in the lineup for this one correct? does he link up for the next match?

United heading into the greenfield:
So, just who is Manchester United?
By CHARLES GOOCH
The Kansas City Star (local paper)
The Yankees are very popular throughout the world. Is that the same for Manchester Untied?
According to Richard Arnold, the commercial director for Manchester United, the team’s worldwide fan base is 330 million. They achieved this number via an independent survey of 28,000 soccer fans in 21 countries, he said. That number accounts for fans who might have a team they follow in their country (like the Wizards, for instance) but also follow Manchester United.
330 million? That’s a lot. I’m having a hard time wrapping my brain around how many people that really is.
It is a lot. Put it this way, if the team’s followers would form their own country, they would be the third-largest country in the world, behind only China and India. The team estimates that 7 million of those fans are based right here in the United States, and they obviously think there’s a substantial number of those fans who will travel to Kansas City.

Interesting. Have never seen any stats on numbers of United supported per country. Anyone know how many are supposed to be in the UK? Ireland?
At least I won't have to stay up really late to see this one. 24 hours and 20mins to go until the supposed kick off time. If the last 2 are anything to go by though the kick off will be about 20mins late coz of all the feckin' about they do.
Hoping to see VDS, Vidic, Evra, Carrick, Park, Rooney and Hernandez in this one.

Kickoff will probably be 10-20 minutes later.
They aren't even back in training yet and only Hernandez is joining the tour for the game in Mexico. The WC players only return to training next week.
The WC players start training on Wednesday. In Manchester.
