Good half for us, deservedly leading at the break. A lot of the players look sharper than I would've expected, Carrick has impressed and has played like he has a point to prove which is good, Valencia's been very much involved and Paul Scholes has been majestic as usual.

Not a bad performance, quality of possession if not quantity means we probably deserve our lead. Rooney/Owen partnership has been predictably impotent though.
With tackles like that and his performance in the WC, you got to think Rooney doesn't really care about playing for England, but would do anything for United.

Park has been poor, Owen has been decent. I don't know how you can consider Owen's performance poor.
Valencia is too strong for Cole. Very composed finish as well. It wasn't easy because Hilario was narrowing the angle.
