Fulham vs Manchester United

Delighted to see Hernandez up front with Berbatov, should be interesting!

Thought we would regularly see Cleverley on the bench, time will tell

There's plenty of time, we're only two games into the proper stuff: injuries and suspensions will hit, as will loss of form and the need to rest players.

Berbarito starting

*insert game over hand signal*

It's clearly tactical.

4-4-2 with Nani and Valencia is a very open line-up. Fine for the majority of games at OT and the aways against the minnows, but if we are to go 4 across the middle of the park against good sides like Fulham, then you need a more defensive winger. Park will tuck in a bit more and Evra will provide the width.

That's a reasonable explanation, I'd just rather we played an open game and overwhelmed them. With Nani you're guarenteed good service to our front two, Park doesn't really offer that quality of service.

I don't understand rotating Nani.

I think having Park in there will give us good defensive cover, at a ground where we've had poor record in recent times. then bring Nani on if we need him. Pluse we need to give Valencia and Park minutes on the board so it makes sense really

Really excited to see that front pairing in action

I will accept nothing less than a 0 - 6 now.

I think we'd always prefer to see the more attacking line-up, but there's no question that Fulham on their own patch are a really dangerous side. We're probably right to err on the side of caution in this instance. This is the sort of game Park is tailor made for in my opinion - he'll do the leg work so that our more creative players have greater license.

And Park is an underrated player in the attacking sense himself. He's fully capable of creating us something with some movement, or getting a goal.

What the hell has happened to the sound on Sky Sports HD?

Ok once the 6-0 jokes die down, this is going to be a very hard match. Any win will be a good win here!

What the hell was that random clip there? Looked like Albert Morgan.

Thats true but i think the reason why Park got the nod ahead of Nani was because of the hussling of opposition and endless work ethic.

Bit interested to see if Carrick would get any game time today

WTF is going on with Sky Sports 1 coverage?

fecking up left right and centre.

feck knows it's weird.

That's a nice lineup from Ferguson. Plenty of bite and workrate in that midfield and a great set of attacking options on the bench for when Fulham start to tire.

Valencia needs to play well though.
