The cnut is going to turn this into a public dirty laundry show. Sure, on his day he is one hack of a great footballer but the last weeks have shown him to be a human being of the lowest common denominator. I dont see what he can say that will in anyway rectify his now train wrecked personal reputation.
However, I now know how Spurs fans felt after Berbatov left, Or Arsenal fans after Sol Cambells betrayal.
Shit happens, under SAF we have pretty much experienced every situation and emotion football can offer .... and yet there has only ever been one certainty whilst under SAF ... and that is that we find a way back and carry on with our traditions of winning in the right way. As long as we have SAF for the next 2 or 3 years, I don't care who stays or leaves, he will find a way.
May he remain in the best of health and continue his reign for many more years.
He has to though, Fergie absolutely destroyed him yesterday.
The fact that his statement is coming hours before the match, and not through United, and through his people means it will not be reconciliatory(not that I want it to be).
His management might add a couple of lines about as others have said, him appreciating everything United and SAF have done for him, but he needs a new challenge now, read: the massive wages City or Madrid can offer.
One because of the lower tax rate(it's still less than 20% in Spain right? or has that loophole been closed?, and the other because they have nothing that remotely resembles a wage structure)
