He wants to move. He wants more money than United can give. He wants more medals than United are unlikely to be able to offer. And he wants to play with players at a similar level. It all points to a move to Manchester City. We shall see.

Sir Alex Ferguson’s emotional outburst on Tuesday had United fans calling for Wayne Rooney’s head. But they should be thanking him. He has saved United from major embarrassment and financial disaster.
United have been lethargic in getting a new deal sorted out for Rooney. Given the financial situation at the club, why should he assume he was going to get the kind of deal he wanted?
You know what? Rooney could have done a Sol Campbell. He could have just said nothing and let the contract run out and then gone on a free transfer and earned a large fortune.
Instead he told Fergie he wouldn’t be signing a new deal on August 14, 2010. At that point Wayne had wo years left on his current deal.
That, to me, doesn’t sound like a player with no honour. It doesn’t tell me he has no loyalty. He is doing right by the club. Rooney’s honouring his contract, but giving the club the chance to make some money out of him.

But by telling United in good time that he wasn’t going to sign another contract, he’s given them the chance to cash in. He deserves respect for that.

Personally i feel the bridges have been burnt, But the conspiracy is just a thought, so calm down.
Who's that Adrian Durham gimp? How can anyone write an article like that and then being approved of submitting it up?![]()
the press is full of shit
I meant you have them right!!
Where the hells that from?
That might have held some water if he hadnt ruined it and mentioned City at the end, i could understand Real Madrid or Barcelona but fecking hell if he thinks City have players any better than ours hes thicker than i thought.
Id love the conspiracy to be true, but sadly, I think we all know what he is going to come out and say.

He seriously said that? Where from?
and abuse the old twat with "the end is nigh" sign that used to parade up and down United road.
