Since that amazing day when we heard that Kenny was coming back to us as manager, there seems to have been a marked shift at the club.
Supporters, who had become divided and angry during the previous months, have become more united and chant his name from the stands, the players seem to have grown in confidence and stature, performances on the pitch are improving and we can look to the future with a bit of a hopeful heart.
The whole club seems to have developed a bit of a spring in its step - a sea change to how things have been for the past few months, and indeed last season too.
Players who seemed to have been totally demoralised are now starting to play again. The change in attitude of Torres for example has been most noticeable. Our main striker now seems to want to play for us again, is attacking and battling for the ball and starting to show just how talented he is.
The performance of the whole team has been lifted, as if the shackles have been removed and they are actually enjoying what they are doing again.
