Football Betting Thread 10/11

I just have a feeling man, Arsenal aren't going to set up like a normal side would facing Barca- Wenger just doesn't know how to play any other way. Plus I think Arsenal's defence is wank, they just conceded four goals to Newcastle!
 
I think it's 2 of their last 12 Barca have won away in Europe, Arsenal will have learned lessons from last year and their European home record is very, very good. I'd still give the edge to Barca but I'd have a think about laying off some of the risk there mate, I think Paddy are offering a double-odds special at Arsenal at 6/1. If there's a catch there which there probably is, elsewhere even 3/1 is good value.

It's good advice, I'll see how I feel nearer the kick off. I really think that on a good pitch against a team that isn't going to physically intimidate them or defend deep then Barca are unstoppable.
 
They played brilliant there last year, absolutely unbelievable for the first hour, and yet still drew the game.

Walcott v Abidal could reap rewards for Arsenal.
 
£15 on Arsenal tonight and £5 on 3-1 Arse at 33/1
 
If I couldn't afford to lose a £500 bet on Barca (which I can't, hence only betting £4 on them), I'd have traded them off at HT at the very latest. You could have taken 2/3 of the max profit at HT.
 
Might be worth putting a quid on Crawley 1-0 at 91/1 lads, you never know and we do usualy do quite wank against these sort of teams...will also help stop the suicide if it does happen!

The fact that there was only one goal in it and you could have gotten about 70% of the total profit on a Barca win but lose nothing on a draw or loss would have been more than enough.
 
20 on United win tonight. With Gignac out hopefully Marseille won't be that much of a threat. to an recent faultless Smalling and Vidic. I think Rooney, Berbatov and Nani in a front 3 is more than enough to win tonights game. Could really do with a win. Betting results haven't been going great recently.
