This seems a likely team but with Rooney playing a half today and Berba rested completely and not started in the derby, I think we may see him up top with Rooney on the bench.

I'm not a huge Gignac fan, tho I respect Wenger's high opinion of him. Good news for #mufc that OM striker out of CL 1st leg (inj v St-E)

Really down to almost the bare bones in terms of squad members if all 3 that went off today are injured along with Rio, Evans, Park & Owen

No idea what the result will be, no idea how good Marseille are, pretty much expect another meh performance from us and then batter them at OT

I presumed any lineups entered are those which the poster wants us to play, at least that's what mine are when I do such. We'll be 4-5-1 so if Rooney plays it should be on the left, but the form if Giggs (and Rooney on the left...) should mean that his only chance would be in a 442.

Even at full strength Marseille is just not good and experienced enough to beat United in the CL.Just block Lucho and his clever passes and then a huge part of their gameplay is contained.
Their crowd is fantastic when things are fine but they can easily boo and whistle their players if things aren't going their way
