We really need to win this, we can't afford to drop points anymore now, and we should have some bodies back too.

Team should be (if they all come back unscathed) :

Vds

Brown
Vidic
Smalling
Evra

Valencia
Carrick
Fletcher
Nani

Rooney
Berba/Chicha

Nervy 1-2 win for United.

Come on, putting an 11 out now two weeks before the game is a bit stupid.

Right, let's hope we get some players back for this one! Wild guess at the team if this is the case, even though it's two weeks away:

van der Sar

O'Shea
Smalling
Vidic
Evra

Valencia
Carrick
Fletcher
Nani

Rooney
Berbatov

SUBS: Kuszczak, Rafael, Fabio, Park, Anderson, Giggs, Hernandez.

That selection would mean neither Owen of course, but we'll have to wait and see with injuries etc.

Damn it not these cnuts, you just know they will play like it's a WC final.

I expect this to be a tough game. They've managed to redeem themselves lately and are now out of the bottom 3 (for now at least). They'll play out their skins and get in our faces, we have to deal with it.

Hopefully we'll have some players back which would be great.

I'll be thrilled if that is our defense for this game.

Noon kick off after international break ?? and away and against those game raising ,,,, hate it.

We owe these bastards one after the manner of our defeat in the League Cup.

Boa Morte and that twat Ben Haim really pissed me off and bullied some of our younger lads.

Hope we leather them

I hate going to feckin' Upton Park lately.

46 quid a ticket FFS.

Still - it's United :)

West Ham are there for the taking!

Van der Sar
Smalling/Vidic (if fit)
Carrick
Park Hargreaves Evra(c)
Valencia Hernandez Berbatov Rooney Nani

Gibson and Owen for Carrick and Van der Sar later on to increase the scoreline

I know the international break is coming at a good time for us, but bloody hell I hate waiting 2 weeks between United games :(

THis is always a tricky bugger, hopefully we win comfortably with a lot of the troops back

Hard game but it's a key one, win one of the remaining three easier away games, do not lose at Arsenal and win home games and it's ours.

No O'Shea, No Rafael, Brown is a doubt too ... I'm expecting Hargreaves has to play.

I'd actually be shocked if we got the 3 points tbh. United away from home=Struggle(on this season's evidence). United after international break=Poor(always have been). United away from home + after international break=Defeat or draw if we're lucky IMHO :nervous:

3 MORE away games left of the league lads. Get this one out of the way and then we'll only have to deal with Arsenal and Blackburn away.

I always feel confident when we play at home.

This fixture brings up bad memories every year. Hopefully Vidic will be back. No point in predicting a line-up until we see how our players return from international duty.

In all seriousness, something like

Van der Sar
Fabio-Smalling-Vidic-Evra
Park-Fletcher-Carrick-Nani
Berbatov-Rooney

West Ham have been poor this season though, it will be very hard to get a win there but I'm hoping for a scrappy 1-goal win much like the ones we got at West Brom, Stoke and Blackpool. They have a decent chance of dominating midfield where they have Noble and Parker pulling the strings with some other hard working players but we might hit them on a counter as they don't have a particularly solid defensive unit. I think this will be tougher than Newcastle because they are more open and have little to play for, and Blackburn who I hope will be clear from relegation zone at the time of our meeting. Draw at West Ham may not be the worst result after all but a target for me this season is 82 points (highly unrealistic, I know) and for that to happen it would be good if we could beat them.

True, but they have found some form over the last 6 weeks and will no doubt roll their sleeves up another inch or two for the visit of United. That along with our away record and 12:45 KO post-international break make me quite fearful of this game. SAF will no doubt have an eye on the Chelsea game 3 days later aswell...

If we win it'll be a huge step toward winning the league, make no mistake, this is as big a banana skin as there is from our remaining fixtures.

van der Sar

Rafael
Smalling
Vidic
Evra

Valencia
Fletcher
Carrick
Nani

Rooney
Hernandez

SUBS:
Kuszczak, Fabio, Brown/O'Shea (whoever is fit), Scholes, Giggs, Berbatov, Owen

Away against Chelsea in the CL after this, keep Scholes/Giggs/Berbs fresh for that.
