Manchester United vs. Fulham

Win the game with our best options and then bring them off rather than risk having to throw them on to save the day.

God I hope Scholes plays.

Do you all remember Scholes vs Fulham a few seasons back?

Was literally the best passing performance I have ever seen.

It's been too long since we have seen the little genious.

At least he is fresh for the run in.

agreed. a 3-0 win if i remember correctly

wasn't that when we had to play Carrick at the back due to defensive injuries? he got sent off for a handball on the line.

Youre getting two defeats there mixed up. He and rooney got sent off in a 2-0 defeat there and carrick and fletcher played in defence there in a 3-0 loss more recently.

VDS, Fabio, Smalling, Vidic, Evra, Valencia, Carrick, Scholes, Nani, Berbatov, Hernandez

Difficult game imo

Sir Alex writes in United Review, the official match day programme, "As we welcome Fulham to Old Trafford, I say to our supporters and players that this is the time for us to unite and show our true colours.

"I want us to make it clear that we can rise above recent problems and that we are a club who can overcome all difficulties and attempts to knock us off our perch.

"We have done it before, and we can do it again if we pull together at this vital stage of the season as we go from one major fixture to another.

"This is the fighting spirit that makes Manchester United such a great club, and which has helped us over the line to success so many times in the past."

"Let's make it the best atmosphere ever, with our fans and team united to make sure Old Trafford remains the fortress we need," declared the boss.

"Together we can see it through!"

Hope its a great game.

Just in case people missed it the other four times it was repeated above.

I expect the atmosphere to be good today. Saturday 3pm kick offs usually are.

Have a bad feeling about this game...

Would be better to lose than the next few matches though...

Worried about this game without Rooney..

You're not listening to what SAF said!!! We are united, players and fans, and we'll overcome difficulties we recently face, Berba will do the job! Come on united!!!!!

why ? I doubt he would of played anyway ,bench at best.
Because Fulham are a good side and the fixture's in between the CL games. And I think Rooney would have played, he almost never rest him, and also add that he's been out a lot this season because of injuries.

So I can't be worried just because of that text? Ok.

Fair point Fulham area good team , but we should be able to win at home.

# Looks like Rio will be rested today, unsurprisingly. Was at Carrington this morning, along with Rooney. 11 minutes ago via Twitter for iPhone

Vidic
Evra

Valencia
Gibson
Scholes
Nani

Berbatov

Only reported so far, apologies, originally posted as official,

No surprises there.

Good team.

That's a very attacking line up

Second best form (behind United, 26 points) from the last 12 games.

- 22 points
- 6 wins
- Only 2 defeats
Yeah, Fulham are in good nick. But they've not beat us at Old Trafford since 2003.

Interesting stat on Hernandez:

"Javier Hernandez has scored 11 goals from just 15 shots on target in the Premier League this season."
