Manchester United vs. Everton

For all the people doubting Evans, do you not remember the class this boy has exuded over the past 2 years? A poor patch of form doesn't change that. Form is temporary, class is permenant, and Evans has proven himself as a class act in the past and he'll be a big MUFC player of the future.

He's been poor the whole season! He's a good player that hopefully will find his form again but I would rather have him do it in pre-season this summer instead of today.

I was nervous earlier but this lineup has only made me more nervous. Only plus is that Arteta and Cahill are not playing.

Lou Macari saying on MUTV that if we win today, that'll basically be the title.

Ummm, I don't think it'll decide it today with obviously still to play both Arsenal and Chelsea, but I do think it'll go a long way for us. If we get the 3 points today, it'll set us up perfectly for the next two matches, in which we could probably afford to draw.

It's just now about knocking the matches off one by one, and keeping that gap. The more we do that, we'll be just fine.

Hope Anderson uses this game to get back into form.

I thought Evans was pretty solid against Bolton from what I can remember. It was just a rash tackle that cost him.

I hope anderson play like he did against sunderland at home, he was brilliant that day.

No surprises for me, Fergie was always going to prioritise europe, unfortunately, id have gone the other way myself, full strength today and rest one or two on tuesday, even if we lost the first leg wed always have the return to turn things around, theres no come backs if we drop points today.

Just hope fergies European obsession dosnt feck up our season.

What did Moyes do?
He was asked how he felt about Rodwell being linked to United all the time.
Said a great club like united wont do it and Everton werent linking their player to other clubs. It was the journo and his colleagues in the media making shit up
Basically told him to feck off

On the positive side of things...Rooney and Hernandez do link well, and we have the 2 best wingers in the league in our side. Fabio should offer the overlap which will provide opportunities down the left. Rooney should be supporting the midfield (although that didn't really happen 1st half vs Newcastle) They're missing key players too atleast.

Thank god Fergies in charge and not you.

Need Rooney to step it up, he always seem to have a shocker against his former club.

This lineup will get the job done and Fergie will be hailed a genius for resting players whilst comfortably gaining 3 points.

Or you won't see me for a couple hours after the game whilst I destroy every piece of garden furniture I own.

We really need Anderson and Gibson to play a blinder today.

After viewing that team line up it's obvious that the CL is Fergies priority this season.

We've not lost any game this season yet, when... a player who scored us a goal drank a tea at least once in his life.

Good omen.

Or it's probably the easiest fixture (on paper at least) we have until we play Blackpool on the 22nd May.

With Schalke away, Arsenal away, Schalke Home, Chelsea Home and Blackburn away to follow this game it makes sense to rest players in this game, Fergie won't probably get another chance for the rest of the season.

If it's really not working out, then we can put Rafael on for J Evans or Evra for Fabio and move O'Shea next to Rio or to left back, or Giggs or Carrick for Gibson. Fergie's left himself a safety net, give the starting XI a chance FFS.
