I'm being honest, I haven't seen this game so in no way to comment about this actual game but I have seen Barcelona play several times and I will say this; they play nice football and have three or four of the ten best players in the world right now including one in Messi who is in potentially the top ten of all time.
I have seen Barca install less than attractive tactics in the past (including recently) and are definitely not the best team the world has ever seen as some suggest, but I will say there seems to be a major over-reaction to Barca due to their ill-tactics from tonights game.
Are Real themselves innocent of this? From what I'm led to believe, they didn't create any chances so they can't blame Barca's tactics too much for that can they?
Real have played dirty in the past too, as have Inter Milan, Juventus, Milan, Arsenal (the other 'saviours' of beautiful football) have been atrocious in the past, as have poor old Chelsea who might cry wolf with these penalty claims from two years back and let's face it, United in the 2-0 win over Arsenal in 2004 lamped Reyes off the park as a stalling tactic which certainly worked in beating a very good Arsenal side although it wasn't the best example of sporting behaviour from United.
But yeah, a massive over-reaction from most on here it would seem about Barca being some sort of evil entity because whilst they're no angels, I've not heard much about them being snide little devils in recent times either...
