Poor half from United. Lucky to get a goal and not have at least 2-3 put past us.

Very sloppy performance.

Am not really liking this ref but, more so am not liking our play. We have been very lucky not to concede more.

I think we need Valencia on the right and Nani on the left. We desperately need to be more careful with the ball.
 
That goal :lol: Any other spin on the ball and it wasn't going in.
 
We have been rubbish, but still drawing 1-1.

Fergie is gonna get the Hairdryer on in the half time that's for sure
 
Fletcher still spending to much time on the left, stick him in the middle where he can do his job for fecks sake!
1-1 is fantastic after that half, I expect so much better from us in the second.
 
Wonderful bit of skill by Scholes for the equaliser. Fully intended.

Evans has been poor and got a mouthful from Fergie, Carrick and Scholes have been sloppy with their passing and Nani and Park havent supported Rooney well enough so far. We were unlucky to go behind like we did and then lucky to get back on terms. Hopefully we address these issues in the second half. And I'd also like to see Nani running at 38 year old Milan left back Favali who came on at the end of the half.
 
Fergie is furious with the defense. I am afraid he will 'injure' someone in the changing room

I agree, Park just seems too slow but is linking up good so its a tough call.



Geez though, on the goal it seemed like that bal hung on the post forever before finally rolling over the line.

Ferguson telling Evans to f*** off sums up our first half performance. It's a miracle we managed to get the equalizer. Rooney needs more service so I'd like to see Berbatov on the second half and play with real pace.
 
We need more width, especially on the left. Might be good to move Nani left and bring Valencia on for Park.
 
The only good thing from the 1st half is we go in level as it could have been far worse the way we were handing chances to them on a plate. We seem nervous at the back and not clearing our lines properly which is making them look good. Bit bemused at the formation as so far it isn't working perfectly hopefully SAF has a good look at half time to make some changes to try to stabilise us.

Not too happy with that. We have really got away with it so far. AC Milan have looked more assured in their play and have had much better chances. We should be losing, but thankfully we are not. Hopefully this equaliser will focus us now. So so sloppy in possession and it has almost cost us big time. Sharpen up our game and find more of a threat and there is no reason why we cant win the 1st leg.
 
All types of hell with be breaking loose in that dressing room ATM, I've not seen SAF so pissed off for a very long time, he's got a lot of venom in him.

Yeah Park has done surprisingly decently despite the circumstances.

That goal had to have been one of the slowest goals I've ever seen.
 
We need to get at Favalli more, whoever is on the right - give it to them and get at Favalli, he will make mistakes.
 
I had a feeling Ronaldinho would have a great game against us, and with a half still left to go I won't be surprised if either him or Pato score the winner. We have a history of being showed up by Portuguese speaking players in the champions league.
 
Dissapointing half from everyone so far.
Only Fletcher and Park have been decent. And Rooney when he finally got a ball.
The rest was really pretty shit, especially Evans' and Scholes' misplaced passes in dangerous areas were atypical
 
Well, that has to be the worst 45 minutes of football we've produced this season. We should be three or four nil down. When we've got the ball we're carrying two or three players, and when they've got it, two or three of our players seem to be carrying the rest of the team.

Baffling really. I know it's a tough game but fecking hell, some of our mob really need to man up a bit in the second half, else we could end up getting spanked.

Doesn't help that Rafael seems to be the only United player on the pitch who isn't shit scared to breathe on him.
 
It is strange with Park on a free role- all over the park, so to speak. We don't seem to need so many bodies in the middle. I can see a second striker in for a midfielder
