Blimey, at one point, I thought I was beamed back to 2007 - Milan playing well, intelligently & we looked a yard off and scared.

I'm glad we went into the tunnel with the game being 1-1 and not 2-0 for AC.

Come on, United!
 
I was intimidated just seeing Fergie's reaction so god knows what was going through Evan's head.
 
Evans will be getting absolutely man fecked right now by SAF. For the first goal he should have told Evra to leave it for him and time and time again he did the same. He needs to start talking and take inititave.
 
keep Nani on and out with Park. put valencia in and nani on the left, get more crosses and give rooney some support from the MF

Rooney - 5.5 Instead of shouting insults at Nani, give him some encouragement.

Bah, I'm confident we're gonna win this. Milan are shite but made to look dangerous due to our mistakes all over the place. With SAF's HT hairdryer we'll be much better in the second half. We're gonna win this!
 
i wouldve predicted us to be quite comfortable. The supposedly slower italian league and an aging team against the likes of Park, Rooney and Fletcher seems to be a great matchup for us on paper, yet they have been outplaying us.

Evans has been shite, but the tactics are shite too. Fergie needs to get his own ass in gear and give us a proper formation.

What a bad game by United... Only because of the luck and a little bit the ref we still have a positive result.... Rafael is too confussed, Rio and Evans are bad, Evra is trying but he is to small... Scholes has given Milan two counter atacks while Carrick is invisable... Nani is like old Nani... Park is just Park... nothing more.... Rooney got to be in the half-way line to get the ball... VDS and Fletcher are doing ok.... Those two are playing like we all expect.. Others must play better.... 4-4-2 will be more good with Berba in the attack... At least we will create more chances....
 
Also, don't get why Rooney was having a moan at Nani when he was the one not attacking a ball into a dangerous area (well at least one time). Nani isn't have a very good game right now and Valencia against Favalli should be something. He'll also put a body on Mr. Bucktooth.

Only reason I am thinking Nani down the left is because honestly I can't see anyone else right now for free kicks and such. Park isn't playing too bad but, Nani on the pitch gives us more of a threat. They are doing nothing right now down their right side, so he won't have to defend much either (and probably why Park is roaming around).
 
We should thank the gods we are level at halftime. Hopefully Rooney will keep his head and not get sent off.

SAF has got to get the tactics right as well. Yes, some of the players have been quite poor but what on earth is going on with our formation today? Fletcher is out left. Park is all over the place and Pirlo isn't being marked closely enough and starting all of Milan's counter attacks. Rafael should be putting Dinho under more pressure by attacking instead of inviting the attacks.

Dinho vs Rafael and there's usually only going to be one winner.
 
feck knows what twatty Souness has been watching, he reckons Rafael has been poor?

I think he is having a good game considering Ronaldinho seems up for it tonight. Evans and Rio have looked poor.

Wow we're doing quite well at 1-1 then for a team composed of two OK players and Rooney. :wenger:
 
so. A recap. The defence has been an utter wank. Noone seems to calmly clear the ball out of the box. Evra had a hollywood bycicle clearance that led to the goal. Ferdinand nods the ball down to opposition players, Evans....well, no comment. Rafael after the first minutes when he had a blackout seems to be better.

Rooney seems isolated and frustrated, had som chances tho, Park is playing well imo, Fletcher is a bit wasted on the left, Nani has been average..

Berba would be a nice sub to help us control possession. Ah well, hope we look much better after Fergie has a word with them.
