I suffer delusions of grandeur
He has to go on the summer tour surely?
We'll have a strong pre-season squad this year won't we? Only disruptions for Hernandez (Gold Cup) and Kagawa (Confederations Cup) from what I can see.
Would be good for a few youngsters to be involved but there might be fewer opportunities than some previous years.
Definitely hope to see a bit of Januzaj.
It tells you a lot about how high Fergie's hopes are for him. It'll be interesting to see how far off be is:
He's either:
A. Ready to play a few games for us next season as a squad player.
B. Ready to go on loan for the season, either Championship or a Small EPL Club.
C. Fergie will feel he's not quite ready for a loan and will keep him at the club to continue his education with the first team and maybe earn a January loan with the odd League Cup game.
I'd have to go for C. He's one of those players that you feel might be good enough to bypass the championship loan. However, now would be a disastrous time for us to get him the wrong PL loan, so that he sits on the bench for five months. The best option is essentially to play for time - keep him here, give him a few games with the first team and keep him as a regular in the U21s. If his situation changes or an obviously perfect PL loan opportunity comes up, we can send him out in January.
Can see him being on the Bench in the last 2 games against West Brom/Swansea.

^ I don't think the club feels the standard at Molde or Antwerp is high enough to benefit the players development more than staying here.
Molde would be a much better standard than Antwerp and also a much better standard than our reserves.

With the way our loan deals have gone of late, I wouldn't send him out on loan.
With Januzaj, while he doesn't mind getting stuck in I think he's still a bit too light weight and could struggle with regular Championship or Premiership football but the problem is that he will stagnate in the reserves as he's above that level already.

No he isn't
He looks very promising and talented at this level, but he hasn't made it his bitch like Macheda or Pogba had at the same age. He is certainly not at the stage yet where he's wasted at that level.

Pogba had some good/very good games and some pretty poor ones. Some good highlight reel moments and clearly showed his talent but never took to it as consistently as Januzaj has done.
He's played across the front four in different positions and is constantly doing well plus working hard.
