No Neviller you pulled the same shite when he played a handful of games. My coaching has nothing to do with this only to show I gave a kid a chance to prove himself. Rather than to take the super productive route you drag your hole down which is to declare him shite and tell him to feck off. I give players at least a season before making my decision on them. Young is the prime example.

Ramshock's conviction in the Fellaini thread was what made me doubt my initial judgement about him and decide he would be a good signing, so him thinking Buttner is Manchester United quality is now concerning me.

My point is I was referring to what people like you were saying about Buttner when he joined not this summer. I never promoted him as a starter over Evra. All I said was you cannot determine if someone is shit from seeing them in very few appearances. He actually scored on this debut if Im not mistaken and had a decent game.
He puts his shift in and gives it his all every game, but he simply isn't good enough for us. He's the equivalent of Andre Santos - a real threat going forward but shocking defensively. When he's not producing in an attacking sense he's completely redundant.
My first critical post in this thread, which happened to be my 4th post in thread. The other 3 were on the day he signed. That post was at the end of the transfer window. Clearly I didn't give him at least a season before judging him.

It really isn't my "form". I've criticised Buttner because he's shite. Said I wouldn't want Moyes as United manager BEFORE Fergie announced his retirement, an opinion I didn't just flip-flop from purely because we appointed him, and said I didn't rate Fellaini and didn't want us to sign him before we actually did, an opinion I also haven't flipped from purely because we went on to sign him.
This is what I don't get. You're not allowed to continue to hold a negative opinion of a player once they sign for United. If you previously think they're shite you aren't allowed to still think that if they become a United player. It makes no fecking sense.
Getting a flight away from England would be a strange way to go about playing in the English Championship or the lower levels of the English Premiership.

No would they feck, and they were the best teams in Europe last season, teams we are trying to catch up with. Hell even Chelsea, City, Spurs and Arsenal would have him nowhere near their squad. Thing is, Moyes was obviously desperate for a left-back but he plays Buttner, our worst one, twice in a row after a humilliating tonking by our city rivals?

Alex was in my dream last night. Jist of it was I suggested Buttner to babysit my brothers kids (I'm assuming My dream-self knew him personally.) They were unsure whether to trust him (understandable) and I made a joke like 'well he does have a large basement..' Which didn't go down well. So. Buttner. Poor left back and potential dream molester.

Real Madrid didn't have cover last season for Arbeloa at right back. They were using Essien.
Dortmund. Yes. They have worse players covering for them at full back. Bayern have Diego Contendo who is very similar from the very limited times I've seen him play.
The point you should be making is, would these teams buy him? No they wouldn't. Barca and Dortmund barely have any cover at all. Bayern just uses Lahm if a position is missing.
I just did make that point....about 5 posts up. Its what I originally meant. Even so none of those teams would have him in their squad, because he is clearly dogshit.
Barca have Adriano who is ambidextrous and clearly better than Buttner. Montoya is a right full-back. Dortmund have Erik Durm who is a promising full-back and German U-21international. Piszcek can also play on the left quite comfortably. Contento is better than Buttner, he was Bayern's first choice until the emergence of the outstanding Alaba. Why are you referring to Madrid's right-backs? No relevance at all. Ramos can clearly play there and do a brilliant job anyway. They have two excellent left-backs more to the point...both head and shoulders above the man this thread is dedicated to.
