Amad Diallo signs for Manchester United

They don't have a say in that right? Isn't the deal done?

That's why the tweet days "trying to get him on loan until June".

United have him joining in January because he is a United player now.

Fabrizio Bullshitino

How many times have the people of Caf exposed him during the Sancho saga?
Eh? It's come directly from Gasperini in his press conference?

In fairness to Romano, he never said United was joining, he said "total agreement with the player regarding wages, and a breakthrough with the agent fees" the issue always was the transfer fee with Dortmund, which proved true.

Seems weird they would want to keep him considering he has only played about 30 mins for them this season.

Only way United would be willing to let him go until June is if there's a big incoming on the RW in January.

Also for Amad one really positive thing about United is we have Eric Bailly here so help him settle.

Well i can't see united allowing him to stay at a club he isn't getting any minutes for. Even if he isnt going to play here, he may as well be here getting accustomed to the club, than at Atalanta were he seems to be way near the first team

Pack parcel and deliver him to united. We need every bldy hand from now on.

To be fair your average ITK wannabe could also come up with the same stuff because if the transfer doesn't happen, they can just say "i told you so" (without people caring about in which part did the deal break as there are usually little news about it anyway) but if the transfer happens they hit a jackpot "i told you so" or "here we go" they say, before ascending into the top of Reddit ITK tier list.

I wouldn't have played him either if I knew he was leaving unless I didn't have a choice. Protect the asset.

Now that he has signed the contract, they'd play him a lot more. Every time he gets on the pitch he improves their attack.

He might as well be here, acclimating if he isn’t getting games over there

surprised nobody picked up on it

We need all hands on deck this season. A one week injury means someone might miss three games meaning you can't rotate as well in a packed schedule. If he's ready to play a bit in the cups, Europe or against the worse teams in the league, by all means get him here.
Plus he'll actually get a chance to settle in Manchester and meet the rest of the team and coaches and so on.

I'm sure we all knew he wasn't getting games. They don't play with wingers so don't know why the request for a loan. Do they want to play him centrally or forward in a 2 or 3? Curious

Him going on loan for the rest of the season wasn’t part of the original deal, we’ve paid for him, we want him to arrive ASAP and Diallo himself wants the same. Good luck Gasperini

Bring the boy to Manchester. He’ll need to get acclimated the environment surrounding the club before the next season begins.

And perhaps almost as important, be a part of the building excitement within the club right now.

The best time for him to come is now. When better to integrate in the team than when the spirit is high and we are winning? He can get a few minutes here and there when the team are playing well and comfortable, giving him the perfect platform to showcase his talent.

Also be a kick in the balls if he lights up Italy while we have an injury crisis on the right hand side

I speak Italian so I watched Gasperini's press conference to hear what he had to say exactly and he did specify Diallo is already our player and implied the decision of loaning him to Atalanta would belong to "Manchester" (I love how in Europe we're just "Manchester").

If anything, this makes me more excited about this kid. It looks like they value him greatly ("he's doing some really really really good things" and "he's grown a lot considering he's only 18" are direct quotes)

We’re going to say no to the loan and probably already have with Ole coming out and talking about Diallo evidence of it. Atalanta will likely try to convince him to stay but why would he? Diallo would benefit more playing with our U-23s rather than the reserves in Italy.

This thread is too much for an 18 year old who has made 5 senior appearances in his career so far. He might turn out to be the new messi. But let’s wait till then, or maybe when we start seeing him play, to start talking about him. This thread makes me feel he’s a club legend already.

people that get in these threads and act like they caught Romano playing strip poker with their partner, will never not be weird to me

Absolutely. He does the same as his old partner in bullshite Di Marzio, he was a ‘transfer guru’ until he was found out.

How people believe Romano is any different when he learnt the trade from Di Marzio is laughable, that’s before you apply logic to his narrative that he has a twist or the inside story on every single transfer on earth.
Every thread his name comes up in? FFS

I wonder what they're playing at. A simple matter of suddenly being reluctant to part with such a big talent?
Gomez is leaving and they want someone who's trained as part of the first team to remain on loan. They aren't trying to scupper the deal, as they can't, they're just exploring the possibility. People across the thread (not necessarily you) seem to be incensed by the idea, it's quite bemusing.

It's a personal crusade to them. The majority of the caf ignores what they have to say about him and still post his tweets so it just infuriates them further. They end up being annoying in their fight to prove he's a fraud or something.

Yeah it’s fecking weird. People expect those guys to be right 100% of the time for some bizarre reason and then act like they’re the worst people in the world when they aren’t.

Ah, bolded part might explain it. Thank you.

"We want to keep him" said the team who've only given him half an hour of play time so far this season :wenger:

So why comment?

Why the feck would we loan him back to them when he’d get more gametime here. They don’t even play with wingers.

That reminds me when City bought Robihno, was it ? And he thought he was coming to us as he had no idea there was 2 clubs in Manchester.

I wouldn't be against it if they had actually played him in the first half of the season, but since that didn't happen it makes absolutely no sense for us, although I don't expect him to get much playing time in our first team either.
