Where exactly is he going too? We're about to lose one of our most important midfielders and its position that Anderson can play in. It would be stupid to remove the boy right now. Good central midfielders take a while to develop but he'll get there. He just needs to work with Scholes a hell of a lot more and learn the tricks of the trade. He's our future, not Gibson.
Give him what benefit of the doubt? We are all saying the same thing - for some reason he isn't playing. You are limiting your opinion to lack of form but, even that you can't prove since unless you have SAF's direct number, you are basing it on assumptions of what you've seen.
A lot of us think there is substance to the media stories that he's done something beyond just being out of form and it is a combination of form and insubordination that has seen him left out.
As for facts - we are on a message board that constantly discusses news reports, analyzes hearsay and formulate opinions on what see on the pitch and what the team selections are. If we are to base our posts purely on facts, then it would be much of a message board would it?

Exactly, for some reason but if you're saying it's because of attitude/brazil then your jumping to conclusions. I'm basing nothing on nothing because i'm not making threads about it. I'll defend him because we don't know but i'm not telling people they're wrong. I'm saying, there is no reason to trust anything the media say.
It don't matter if there are a lot that think this or that. It's all ratios based on the same thing. It's not like you guys KNOW any different or have evidence but neither do the people that deny it. If you're saying you think this is insubordination then by all means provide evidence because it just looks like a lot of hearsay to me with no foundation. Some would say a prejudice due to how you imagine him/his lifestyle to be.
The final point is irrelevent isn't it? I and no one has said STOP POSTING. At all. That's a fact. What i've personally said, is I would like to know what your basing it on and where are your facts? I don't think there's much of an issue with that. Your innocent until proven guilty so keep posting by all means, but prove it. If you can, I don't think anyone will have any problems saying you were right...

Its truly amazing just how fickle we football fans are, its incredible how one player becomes flavour of the month just as another becomes the Anti Christ!

What differs them , in my opinion, is the fact that Nani LOOKS like he wants to do something , to change something , he is determined , he fights , he is pissed off when he is substituted , he will chase the ball after loosing it.
While Anderson seems to be lazy , he just doesn't give a shit , he strolls on the pitch. I remember him chasing the opposition players , tackling , fighting . Where is it now ? What happened ? Is he fed up with football?
It's a Brazilian thing IMO. They tend to lose focus when they have won it all or things are going against them. The staggering thing about Anderson is that he's won it all apart from the WC, he seems to have lost his edge because of that. Similar to what's happened to Ronaldinho.
I think Ando has done well this season but his behaviour leaves a lot to be desired if what's alledged is true.

His last game for United was against Leeds (I think). He didn't have a very good game (putting it mildly) but he worked fecking hard and put in some monster tackles.
He can look quite lost on the pitch at times but he usually puts a shift in (with the occasional, depressing, exception). It's unfair to say he doesn't give a shit.

I don't read the sports pages anymore but I know how the media work anyway. You cannot jump on stories just because of a prejudice. It is better to sit back and do nothing but at the same time the more people write about it, the more it becomes a talking point. Sadly some people believe it, so in a way some people are being quite selfless but you can't help everyone

mutv is unbiased media in the sence that there is no angle. It's not like they all say the same thing. They aren't privy to information either. People are free to find out where I said your all wrong but you won't. Some people are to be blunt ..idiots.
You guys are more then free to provide evidence but you haven't and therefore you can't use hearsay to back up your argument. I'm not saying I know more then you. I'm just not believing all I read and that's the difference. I'm not saying your wrong......but why jump to that conclusion? It's not denial either - we just don't know anything.

a sain person wouldn't watch them as we already know the end game is the same. The best person to represent you, is yourself. Politics is interlectual acting so have zero interest in it.

If so, why would you choose to believe them when you refuse to believe the media at large? Isn't that the sort of media coverage you don't believe without confirmation?
I would also suggest that they're at the very least as biased as any other media source, and quite a bit more so, in reality.

you ever watched mutv? It has an agenda to be on tv in xxx amount of peoples homes sure. However they don't 'claim' to know more then anyone else unless it's an exclusive interview.....
In addition, it's not like people are blocked out if they have something negative to say. The only agenda you do get from guests is sometimes they agree cause they're mates.
However, if you hear on mutv that Anderson missed this or that (not read from a paper) you know it's true, where as any other media you just don't know
Why would the channel criticize? We're not in USA. It's for the fans to be critical. Not anyone else. It's not like the fans are told what to say.....
They clearly have an agenda. Mentions of G&G and LUHG sentiments get sweeped under the carpet very quickly, they refuse to be critical even if someone had a shocker, they don't dicuss prickly points in phone-ins. Overall, it's just one of the club's arms of propaganda.
You're missing the point.
MUTV has a very definite agenda. That agenda is to only ever discuss, mention, or otherwise consider good news stories about United, for the good of the "brand".
They never ask difficult or challenging questions and never try to scratch beneath the surface to uncover the inevitable problems that occur behind the scenes at every football club. For us fans to try and learn about any of the genuinely interesting or provoking stuff at United we have to rely on alternative information sources.
Come to think of it, MUTV is the televisual equivalent of you.

Mutv don't come out with rumors directly. They've not even mentioned this Anderson nonsence. Why do I choose to believe them?
I already said i'm not saying anyones wrong. That's the point. You make your own minds up. My point of view is I don't trust the media. If people BELIEVE it's true, prove it so the rest of us can applaud you..but all you see is people saying they believe it for what reason? Only God knows...

Maybe that's only my impression but seriously i think something is not right there with Anderson, and i claim it based on all matches he's played so far this season.
He lacks confidence , he used to run with ball a bit , he can do it but he hasn't been taking this responsibility lately.
Moreover he clearly knows that he is not delivering, when you are not even on the bench you know that something is not right, this even makes things worse.

I'm not sure where you're going with this latest tangent about the Glazers but you've been talking an awful lot of rubbish in the last few posts, so I'm inclined to think this is more of the same.
Are you seriously suggesting that if Anderson had been slacking off, not turning up to training and buggering off to Brazil without permission then the Glazers would encourage MUTV to cover the story, so Anderson can be sold for more than we paid for him (20m is what you said, right?)
