Subbed off in the 55th minute. Very un-Fergie like time that.
He' simply not that good
Anyone know why Scholes wasn't on the bench? Would have been a great option for the last 30 minutes.
That's not true. He was excellent in the last game he started and superb around Christmas time.
Woeful today though. Turns into Liam Miller as soon as we leave Old Trafford.
Currently I think Wilshire is a level above the Brazilian.

You think?
I think they are on a similar level technically, but Wilshere has more mobility and energy. So I'd probably agree with you.
fo sho.
Sarcasm Boss.
Regarding Anderson, Been unlucky with injuries but has to start finding his feet away from as well and what the feck is it with his shooting ? Big husky lad, why cant he generate more power ?
Wilshere is a much better player than Anderson
A hell of a lot younger too
Oh feck off. They are both player's who can dribble, both player's who can pick out short and long range passes very well, and both can't hit a barn door when it comes to their shooting prowess. The only difference is that one is English and the saviour of the national team, and the other is a Brazilian. It's funny what a bit of pro-English hype can do for ones reputation![]()

Christ on a bike.
I don't care about the national team so that arguments out of the window. The evidence isn't from hype it's what everyone can see with their own eyes. Wilshere is a better footballer than Anderson.

Ah/. Now were are back to dissing Anderson. Okay...
Utter bull shit. It's not the fact he's English that makes him better, it's the SEASON of consistently good performances he's put in. Something we've never had from Anderson.

He's been utter wank since January, interupted by a good game at home to Barca, barring that he's been nowhere near as influential as the media would have you believe. If he wasn't English, he'd have recieved nowhere near the praise he has, nor would he have won YPOTY.
How can you say we've never had a consistent season from Ando when he's never been able to have a run free of injury as long as that? He arrived on the back of a broken leg, had a very good 1st season, then he went to Olympics and came back well behind everyone else in terms of preparation for the new season, then he picked up a cruciate injury last season, then this season he returned only in November, performed superbly for about 6 weeks but unfortunately picked up another long-term injury which he only just returned from 3 weeks ago.
Any criticism has to be tempered with that in mind aswell as the talent he has shown in the past. People are way too quick to pass judgements on this guy when taking all his circumstances into account.

I agree 100%. It is the reason we went 1-0 down. We had been comfortable up to that point. Not me Chief, felt it was the wrong sub to make.
There was no such thing as a battle today. Till he went off Carrick and Anderson were controlling Arsenal comfortably, without they or Rooney being forceful enough with their passing.Anonymous today, a complete contrast to his excellent performance last weekend, but that sums him up, when we are all possession he shines, but when it is a midfield battle like today, he just can't get into the game.
