he looks like Dennis Nilsen. oh life is so lonely sometimes isnt it arse?

Wenger's resting Henry, Bergkamp and Silva in the cup ahead of the game. Keown's back though.

Arsene Wenger stoked up his war of words with Sir Alex Ferguson by insisting the Manchester United boss is "nervous" ahead of next week's title showdown.

Wenger insisted he was unruffled by Ferguson's latest jibe, in which he is said to have declared the Arsenal manager would regret having claimed his team could go unbeaten this season.

He instead maintained Arsenal have not been given the credit they deserved this season as he stressed actions would speak louder than words.

Wenger's bullish mood admittedly came before United's imposing 6-2 victory at St James' Park, which put them three points clear at the top and all but wiped out Arsenal's goal difference advantage.

"I can guarantee it doesn't disturb me or my team at all," he insisted when told of Ferguson's latest bid to unsettle him. "Frankly, I think to be mature is to give importance to things that are important. Some things are not important.

"What is important is not what people say, but the result in the end. We know that we can achieve something that has never been done before with another double. So let's put our best effort in there to try and achieve it. If we do it, everyone will say we are great - no matter what anyone has said before. Let's focus on how good we are and how good we can be and let other people do the talking."

Yes, going out of the Champions League and losing an 8 point advantage speaks volumes.

I was wondering if the day would come when there would probably be two referees on a football pitch. I would like that to happen for more than one reason.

But, in the event that Poll and Riley are chosen to referee a Manchester United v/s Arsenal game, what would happen?

Thats pretty self evident, and Arsenal are based in the capital of which country?

Erm, no it hasn't. Not a league and FA Cup double. But that's all about to change...

Manchester United won the double in 93/94 and 95/96. And once more in 98/99.

If you mean 2 doubles in a row then fair enough, though that's not the way I read it.

Cnuts winning the double double... yeah that's never been done before.

No worries Jens ;)
Being Irish just don't really relate to the St Georges Flag flying for Utd.

Well duh. Arsenal won the double in 1971, 1998 and 2002, if you ever watched anything else than Manutd you would know that. But no team has won it two years in a row. You mancs are never cease to amaze me in your knowledge of football.
