Arsenal v Man Utd

Can anyone explain to me the reason to play Giggs in the middle and Rooney out wide? I just dont see the reason for that, except Giggs maybe playing a bit deeper to help out in central midfield

yet again play Rooney in the midfield - now we are under pressure, now we will have to change it
SAF angers me at times

fecking get it changed Fergie - how many times does it take and how many times do we need to go behind before we play our usual system
United corner

Two great chances there. Arse needs to thank Lemon for the 0-0 HT score.

As long as Scholes and Carrick get their hands around the midfield battle, we will be well poised to win this game.

Can't post during United games.

But this one is a true heavy weight contest.

Nervous as feck throughout that half.

This could go either way.

Arsenal marginally the better team, I think.
Cracking game, though.

Also, where the feck is Carrick for you lot? I don't think he's touched the ball except when taking the corner.

with all the neighsayers here we still had the two best chances i guess we could switch to a 4-4-2 but i will take their shooting from outside the box

Good first half, both teams doing some good stuff. Nice dive from Henry, for a moment I thought the cnut was getting something

It was a penalty.

Henry made the most of it, though

Also, how is the atmosphere so good at the Emirates? I am/was shocked

I think Carrick has been doing really well, great passes, good position.

Stick Rooney up front and Giggs left. Why does Fergie persist with such a redundant formation in the big games. It's like he can't resist some sort of tactical inspiration.

In saying that, we've played quite well. But, I think with the normal 4-4-2 we'd be playing even better.
