Arsenal vs. Manchester United

Yeah we should play Chicha and Rooney for Arsenal and play Berba and Rooney for Schalke.

Subs: Kuzczak, Smalling, Evans, Anderson, Giggs, Owen, Chicharito
Prediction:1-2 Rooney, Berbatov

I suggest we drop Berba and play

-------Wayne-------Rooney-----

Just so you all know

Scholes is suspended.

Well the last time Berba started against Arsenal we lost. He hasn't started in the 7 games since and we have won 6 and drawn one which was the game we only neeeded a draw to win the title. If he starts lets all hope he has a blinder.

We have only lost once in the last 11 games.

I don't like that Giggs is rested tomorrow, would have been better taking him off on tuesday after 70 mins, hope he won't play on wednesday though as we need him for the biggest game of the season next week vs Chelsea. And tomorrow's the second biggest.

I think tomorrow's team is as difficult to predict as it has ever been this season. The assumed predictableness of the Schalke game next week has really thrown my selection prediction into chaos.

If Schalke played well against us in the first leg and looked an attacking threat, I'd say that the players who played there will be 'saved' for the second leg. Key players like Rio, Valencia, Park. But now that next leg seems straight forward, I think it's possible our more 'defensive' midfield set up (and possibly Fletcher) could be carried over into the Arsenal game with our more attacking midfield line up being introduced in the home leg vs Schalke to finish the game off.

I can't see any reason to play a massively weakened side tomorrow as a victory almost seals the title and the Schalke results changes the type of side we can play at home. Rest some players like Rio and Giggs but not wholesale changes.

I'd go with

VDS

Rafael, Vida, Smalling, JOS

Carrick, Anderson,

Valencia, Park, Nani

Rooney

If Scholes or Fletcher were ready I'd play one of them over Carrick to give another rest but as things stand may as well play Carrick tomorrow and perhaps play Fletcher instead of him against Schalke. Would not be against Fergie playing Gibson over one of Park or Valencia if they need a break, or Berbatov starting the lone striker role if fit enough to give Rooney or Hernandez a break but it's still a very good side being played.

Either way, we could effectively win the league tomorrow with a win so it's worth going for.

Arsenal will be tough to beat with our strongest team. Talk of resting players is plain ludicrous. feck the CL, we can start worrying about that this time tomorrow.

there is no way we should rest players, its madness chelsea are still within touch of us come on we can't fecked this up.

Giggs is not in the squad? Why

Anyway we should do what we always do against them. Pack the midfield, let them pass and hit them on the counter. Just Rooney up front please.

I would take 1 point all the time here now, such a vital point if we can get it.

Yeah a point here and a point next week would be decent enough. 4 points from these 2 games though would be title winning.

I have a feeling tomorrows team sheet is going to be met with a lot of 'wtf' reactions.

I hope not, anything other than full strength is madness.
