Arsenal vs. Manchester United

Not denying Giggs's class and potential impact, but why not give one of the younger lads a run out? Kagawa or Cleverly would have been exciting.

You can find a way to defend your players but today I'm lost for words when it comes to Valencia, how he's staying on the pitch so far in the game is beyond me

This Nani/Valencia stuff is infuriating. I can't believe Nani's gone off.

Surely that is only in cases of direct red?

Nah cause the end result is the same.

It's because you can't control the next break in play, so say you play advantage and then the player who should be off scores before the next break in play, that would be horrific.

Or a matter of one player being available next season and the other not.

Then surly keep Nani on to try and up his value? (if what you say is correct of course)

This isn’t me saying I want him to go, but if he is, then while the league is done and dusted, why not put him in the shop window?

well..I suppose playing him when there is actually no pressure on us perhaps is a way to find out just how shite he has become....

He's actually not allowed.

If he was going to send Sagna off he had to stop play, you can't play advantage and send a player off (which Sagna's second caution would have meant).

You don't have to stop play to issue a second yellow or red when there is an advantage. Dowd could have gone back and sent Sagna off.

True, but less horrific than the alternative, which is the player who should have been off scoring - and then not getting sent off either.
