ITS NOT OVER!
TURIN - Beppe Marotta do not want to sell, but this is not enough to be sure that does not leave Arturo Vidal Juventus.Says the CEO of Juventus' Vidal? Never put up for sale. It 'a player who has been asked by important clubs, but we've never sat at the negotiating table. And 'one of the greatest actors of our team, we keep it tight. Then you know that on one side there now, the other is the player who is always the one who decides its future. However, it seems to me that Vidal has also expressed his happiness of yesterday remain, if this is true happiness, we are overjoyed to keep it.

THE MANCHESTER
- What does this mean? Well, let's say that Juventus in front of an offer of 45/50 million would be hard pressed not to give in to the temptation to sell Vidal. And, in that case, the key to justify the sale of jewelery could be the "will of the player." In other words: if Vidal wants to go to Manchester we can not hold by force. But Vidal wants to go to Manchester? It is not clear yet good for the time bouncing pieces of interviews from South America where Vidal is kept in balance. But the truth is that no one has yet made an offer on which to reflect in a concrete way. Vidal is fine in Turin and his family would not like a transfer, however, if the offer of Manchester was economically interesting for him, everything could change. And the Manchester seems serious about: the budget for Vidal is 44 million euro, but could be set to rise.

I think that somebody said that Tuttosport is the most reliable paper when it comes to Juve? Something like Marca-Madrid(?) ? Or is it AS-Madrid ?

Get in.

Marca madrid, in a way that they wont say anything against juve, also they get most of their content through juve.

Tuttosport has the inside track on Juve due to being based in Turin so their Journalists will know more than most.

Last time I was reading through a Juve forum they were saying that all of the Italian based papers are full of shit.

They were also talking about Vidal leaving like it had already happened though.

Just like we think every english paper is shit. The thing is in italy papers are fed news (think united under moyes). Here under fergie and Lvg we have been giving media feck all info. This is why ogden is completely quiet. He does not want to ruin the reliable reputation he has de to his contacts with the club.

Tuttosport is very bad when it talks about incoming Juve transfers, they link Juve to everyone but when it comes to out going they're reliable from what i've seen over the years.

I think injuries play a big part for every squad, so it's not something new really. Smalling is the biggest question mark for me, as he doesn't seem cultured enough to fit into what the new manager would expect. Jones and Evans can both play a bit, but like you said it's down to fitness. At least one more very good addition in that department would see us look much stronger as a squad. Has Fletch not been cured, or is it a management thing?

His illness is chronic so I doubt it can really be cured. Also Id rather bet on Evans, Smalling and Jones in terms of injuries AND talent then today's Fletcher.

We do need to invest. Our first 11 isn't good enough and our squad is vastly overrated by some of our fans.

And vastly underrated by others. But there's no question about the CM issue, we must have another one before the start of the season, even if it's not someone of Vidal's supreme quality.

Just realised that no credible source has once linked us with Vidal this summer haha, and yet this thread has over 200pages based on (Mostly twitter speculation) from a bunch of nobody's.

One things for sure, Van Gaal will most definitely get asked about him tomorrow, so let's hope our manager gives a straight answer and not some riddle!

What a surprise, one positive tweet and we are talking about "co*** out" again. Andy Mitten said yesterday that we are interested and it won't be easy to sign hime but the player wants to join. If he is correct and Vidal wants to join us then I think Juve will get a good fee out of us and that be all.

Mitten?

The surgery effectively cures him for life. Technically he still has the illness but it has no actual effect on him any more. (My best mate in school had ulcerative colitis so I know all the gruesome ins and outs.)

That said, I don't think he's good enough to count for much any more. At times the best of our bunch last season, but only narrowly, and that's not saying much over Fellaini and a completely out of form Carrick.

Evans, Jones and Smalling, on the other hand, I have great faith in. Put a good midfield in front of them and they'll really surprise their critics.
